A charisma is not something that a lot of people have. Many think that it is something you are born with rather than something that can be developed over time. And that kind of piques my interest. Can also anime waifu have this sort of charisma in them?
And that is the main reason I wanted to write this list about 25 most charismatic anime waifu of all time. And before we jump into the list, just like usual I would brief some things so that we have the same basis about charisma itself.
So, I take the definition on Oxford Languages that provides word definitions for Google. And it is said that “exercising a compelling charm which inspires devotion in others”. And coincidentally, the example that has been used for this is “a charismatic leader”.
So, most of these waifu are either a leader or someone who can influence others either with their ability or well… Their charisma (duh). And after researching these characters, I fully realize that despite having the same basis about what charisma is, that does not necessarily mean that we have the same opinions about it.
So yeah, there would definitely be some waifu that are left out because well… I forgot. It did happen a lot of times before and there is nothing I could do about it. What I can promise is that I did research thoroughly and see whether or not she deserves to be on the list or not.
And with that being said, let us start by number 25:
Most Charismatic Anime Waifu of All Time
25. Kobuchizawa Shirase (A Place Further Than The Universe)

Starting off the list with a character that most people do not know. She is coming from one of the most underrated anime (you can read the synopsis here) and also a great leader too. At least for her peers.
Shirase's spirit to go to Antarctica has influenced the group and makes them more motivated than ever. Yes her circle is still small, but that is a good start for her. Who knows what will happen to Shirase in the near future?
24. Yuno Gasai (Mirai Nikki)

And for the next one, we have a mad girl from the infamous Mirai Nikki. Yes I know that Yuno has a bit of loose screws in her head. But you cannot deny that she has her own charm that made us kind of want to follow her no matter how dangerous the situation.
And I said that as someone who does not really like Yandere in general. Some of you might love them, some of you are perhaps just like me. But here I am just stating the facts.
23. Emma (The Promised Neverland)

Spoiler, she is the youngest character on the list. Yet I do believe that she deserves a place here. We all have seen her leadership bringing all the children escape from the daunting Grace Field. And that was not an easy task.
However, it should be mentioned that you have not seen her true ability as a leader. The anime did not do justice to depict Emma as a charismatic female character. Go read the manga and you can see why I mentioned such things.
22. Emilia (Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu)

Putting Emilia on the list is perhaps questionable for some people. But really, her development in the recent season (that aired a year ago lol) is amazing. We can see how different Emilia was in the early Re:Zero series and Emilia now.
She is also still quite young (technically she is supposed to be like hundreds of years old because she was frozen), and still has a lot to learn. Anime-only fans cannot wait to see what will happen to her in the future.
21. Yaoyorozu Momo (My Hero Academia)

Honestly, this is the third time I have spoken about Momo, and I have spent quite a good amount of time talking about her redeeming qualities, including her charisma. As it is right now, I truly have no idea what to say anymore about her.
Perhaps right now I would like to put a shameless plug and put this and this article for you guys to read about Momo. Go on, do not be shy. It is definitely worth reading.
20. Ayuzawa Misaki (Kaichou wa Maid Sama)

With her hard work and bold attitude towards boys, it is hard to say that Misaki does not have any charisma (well if she really does have none, then she would not become Students Council President).
Sadly for some of us, it is pretty difficult to see her stoic attitude in maid uniform. But hey, I guess the good thing here is that we can see Misaki's other kind of “charm”. And a charm is still a charm if you ask me.
19. Kurotsuchi Kurotsuchi (Boruto)

Since the Kage Summit arc and 4th Ninja Warrior arc, Naruto fans already knew that Kurotsuchi is a capable and skillful Ninja. No wonder she got picked to become the 4th Tsuchikage of Iwagakure.
We have not seen that much of her action as a leader in Boruto, though. But we can assume that she is a great leader who can go on par with other Kage (except for maybe Naruto because he was the ex-protagonist. No one can beat the protagonist).
18. Kuujou Jolyne (JoJo Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean)

Look who is in town. At last JoJo fans can get the adaptation that they have been wanting. There is something about the Kujou and Brando family having this unique charisma. And Jolyne certainly has one.
The series is currently on the first episode, so that means if I talk more about Jolyne, it could be rated as “spoiler”. Here I just want to let you know that she has very much to offer. You just simply need to wait and see.
17. Yukinoshita Yukino (Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru)

Yukino has shown many times that she has the capability to lead the team. Even though she is quite calm and reserved, that is probably her own charm and style to become a leader.
Sadly there are also times that Yukino feels out of place and does not feel confident of what she is doing. Luckily her circle is kind enough to support her as a leader. She still has a long way to go though. But knowing her, Yukino will definitely manage it.
16. Suzumiya Haruhi (The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi)

If you have a weird personality but people are still willing to follow you regardless, then that is what you call “charisma”. And that is also exactly what Suzumiya has in herself.
(This is a bit harsh but somewhat true) If I were Kyon or others, I would not probably stay near her and have something to do about her. Yet they still stay on her side. That is some true loyalty that does not happen in your everyday life.
15. Nakiri Erina (Food Wars)

Starting from the number 10 of Elite Ten, and then somehow becoming the headmaster of Totsuki, and eventually winning Blue Competition. Erina's journey in the Food Wars series is full of achievement and we can see why.
Apart from her cooking skill, she also has a charisma that is really appealing to some people. We can see that in the Totsuki Night Train arc, leading the rebel students. No wonder she is being set to be the leader of the Nakiri family.
14. Shinomiya Kaguya (Kaguya-sama: Love Is War)

We have been in this high schooler part of the list. And between all of these characters, Shinomiya Kaguya has shown a brilliant leadership in the series (just a tad bit better than Erina. And here is why).
Pretty Similar with Erina, she is projected to become the future leaders of their own family. But unlike Erina, Kaguya still has a lot of time to prove such a thing. It would be interesting to see what Kaguya would be like in the near future.
13. Mavis Vermillion (Fairy Tail)

The Fairy Tail guild will not exist without Mavis being around. She is known as a cheerful and soft hearted girl. But that said, she has her own charm that attracts a lot of people around her.
But of course that is not all that Mavis has. It is pretty common to see the leader of a certain group being the strongest one. And Mavis is no exception to this. We have seen her magic that is something not to sneeze at.
12. Makise Kurisu (Steins Gate)

If Okabe was not around in the lab, I think all of the lab members would approve Kurisu as their leader. In fact, with her intelligence and knowledge, their research will probably go faster and smoother than it should be.
Of course there is a reason though why Okabe is so loved as the leader despite his silly antics. Here I am just saying that Kurisu is an invaluable member of the lab, and can be the de facto leader if needed.
11. Crusch Karsten (Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu)

Emilia needs to learn so much about leadership and stuff with Crusch. Despite not having that much screen time, she already showcased how to lead a group well. The battle against White Whale is the prime example.
Sadly she had a tragic accident and now her memory is wiped out. Let us hope that Crusch can go back to her usual charismatic self (I have not read the Light Novel so I have no idea what happened to her).
10.Mikasa Ackerman (Attack on Titan)

Entering the top 10 list, we have the arguably 2nd strongest soldier that humanity ever had. In terms of leadership, Mikasa… Does not have one to be honest. But she does have something else to show how reliable she is.
That is right, power. With her skill, she can easily win people's trust. Her peers respect her so much and feel safe whenever Mikasa is with them. That is another level of charisma she got there and could not be replicated easily.
9. Senjougahara Hitagi (Monogatari Series)

My personal first impression of Hitagi is not a good one, considering how she almost made Araragi lose one eye. But over time, I learned how great Hitagi is as a character. And who would have thought she has her own charisma.
I mean, she does not have any kind of superpowers or intellect like other characters. Yet people like Meme, Kaiki, and others respected her. If it is not because of her charm, I personally do not think that Hitagi would get that kind of respect from these people.
8. Fubuki (One Punch Man)

In the One Punch Man universe, we can agree that Fubuki is far from the strongest character. Like, that far from the top. However, we need to admit that she has a really good leadership. Otherwise there would not be The Blizzard Group.
Fubuki is well respected among her underlings. She does realize that she is not as strong as her sister, Tatsumaki, yet she still works her hardest as a hero. That is some dedication right there and why many B-ranked heroes follow her.
7. Artoria Pendragon (Fate Series)

(Or just Saber if it is too long) For her case, rather than babbling trying to explain her charisma, I rather cite what the Fate wiki writes about Saber's charisma, which is currently B-ranked. Sounds pretty low, but just hear me out.
“Having B Rank in this Skill is sufficient to lead a nation as its King/Queen. The morale of military forces he or she commands is extremely high.” If that is not enough to explain her charisma, then I do not know what will.
6.Tanya Degurechaff (Youjo Senki)

And what the hell is this child doing here? Well if you have watched the series, then you should know how great Tanya actually is as a leader. But if you have not, allow me to explain why.
In the series, Tanya, despite being a child, possesses a great intelligence (because she used to be an old man). And that makes her so formidable as a leader of a platoon. Yes she is quite scary, but for me that is simply because she expected the best from her underlings.
5. Oshino Shinobu (Monogatari Series)

Shinobu herself is not really that charismatic. But when she turned into her old Kiss Shot Acerola Orion Heart Under Blade, now we are talking. She does not lead any kind of factions, yet people still follow her when they get a chance.
Like Araragi for example, who desperately wants to save her. And not only because he has a kind heart, but also because he knows Shinobu's true value. It eventually restrained her, but hey, Shinobu eventually shows that she is Araragi's greatest ally.
4. Bishamon (Noragami)

Remember Noragami? I certainly almost forgot it existed (Studio Bones I beg you for the 3rd season). And in this anime, we got ourselves a great leader, in the form of “Goddess”. Goddess of War, to be precise, named Bishamon.
Despite being called as Goddess of War, Bishamon is also a really kind Goddess, known by other Gods to adopt stray Shinki. But yeah, she does live by her reputation as the Goddess of War, having an incredible fighting skill.
3. Boa Hancock (One Piece)

Into the top 3, we got here the Empress of Amazonian who is known for her charm and beauty. She literally can make anyone subdue her, except for Luffy of course. And if you guys think this is solely because of her Devil Fruit, you are dead wrong.
Keep in mind that she also possesses the Supreme Haki, something that only the most charismatic characters can have. It shows that Hancock is more than just a Devil Fruit user because she does have that leadership ability on her belt.
2. Tsunade (Naruto)

This young looking old hag is possibly not the strongest Hokage that Konoha ever had, but she is still one of the most capable. Tsunade did certainly come from a long way after rejecting the Hokage position, and now becoming one of them.
She can act like a leader and has the ability to lead others. If it is not because of her, Konoha would perhaps have gone utterly destroyed by Pain. Not to mention her medical ninjutsu that is always useful for most situations.
1. Erza Scarlet (Fairy Tail)

I personally have no doubt that Erza is the most charismatic female character on this list (yes, even more than the Guild Master). She is not the leader of the Fairy Tail guild, yet people trust her judgment and leadership whenever she is on the steering wheel.
Erza does not lead by her personality only, but also by example, showing people her true strength, and building some trust. Her battle against 100 monsters in Pandemonium during the Grand Magic Game is one great example to showcase Erza's charisma.
