The tsundere is one of the most popular types. They switch between a tsun or harsh action and a dere or love-struck state. You’ll know if a character is a tsundere if they keep saying Baka or they try to cover up a good deed. Actually, there are two types of tsundere, Dere Types A and Dere Types B.
In Type A, the tsun term is their default personality and part of how they usually treated others. They tend to verbally and physically abuse their object of desire, get embarrassed when complimented, and use baka as every other word. But deep inside, they actually just really shy and can’t accept their own feelings and turn into hurt others.

Kuudere are those characters that look expressionless, won't react to whatever the love interest says, don’t get jokes, and are most likely regarded as some sort of genius of high IQ. These characters are usually designed with hair colors of white, blue, or other cold colors. In some cases, a kuudere will completely melt or break their ice armor, start crying or screaming I love you

6. Deredere

They usually get any kind of work done by having other people do it. They give orders to everyone around them. They put themselves first in any situation, not caring about others. The only exception is the one they love, although they may hide their love for their love interest at first. They always want perfection and success everywhere, from everyone and from themselves.

The difference of this dere type with hinedere is that oujidere is a big attention-seeker and loudmouth when it comes to being praised by many people around them in a large crowd. As for a hinedere, they will only get attention from a few people in a small social circle behind closed doors.

Arrogant, proud, and sporting a god complex are part of their personality. They believe everyone should treat them as divine beings, and will force their views on everyone. They will demand to be treated like the perfect being they think they are by others, including those they like.
Kamidere characters believe that they are a god or superior beings. They feel that they are in a higher position, compared to others, even if they aren't actually a deity and are just humans or of the same species as the other characters. They are also highly arrogant and proud and aren’t afraid to speak their minds and show everyone how right they are.

10. Undere
A relatively obscure character type. The undere combines the deredere, dandere, and a sprinkle of yandere. This character always says yes or un to their loved ones as a way to stay close to them. They are really dependent on their love interest, and would not know what to do without them.
Undere will act almost like a cultist, blindly following their love interest even if their love interest treats them badly in return and their love interest commits morally incorrect actions. Undere characters do this at the cost of their well-being and the well-being of others just to please the undere's masters so as to fulfill their purpose in life

11. Mayadere
One of the most popular types of dere. They are characters who begin the series as an antagonist. Mayadere will fall in love with the main character, but that does not mean they will switch sides and are willing the kill their love interest if they feel betrayed. Alternatively, with time, they can also start to fake their fights to not really hurt the heroes when their dere side starts to act up.
As most of them can be the main villain of the story, if they get to join the hero's side, another major villain will appear in the story. However, the most common thing to happen is for the mayadere to return to their position as the main antagonist in future episodes after the problem is solved. If so, the character can still remain deadly and unpredictable for the protagonist or other main characters during the story.

12. Bodere
A relatively new type of character. The bodere combines the violent nature of the tsundere with the shyness of the dandere. Bodere characters are usually shy around the opposite sex and lash out to hide their embarrassment. Sometimes they often use harsh action to rent their emotions

13. Hinedere
Takes the icy nature of the kuudere and combines it with the arrogant attitude of the kamidere. Hinedere characters are very cynical and sarcastic but will show their soft side when a character breaks through their shell. They are a new archetype and may see more popularity if the anime’s cynical trend continues.
A hinedere will turn hostile and annoyed towards a few people around them because of their ego, mostly when they are acknowledged and trusted by those who are closest to them. When other people call out on a hinedere's behavior or turn out to be a burden for the hinedere, they will be given the silent treatment and they will get cut off entirely by a hinedere out of their lives.

14. Sadodere
Sadistic characters get off on toying with characters on an emotional and physical level. A sadodere is a troublemaker who enjoys manipulating others’ feelings, commonly taking pleasure from it. It is common that a sadodere will play with their love interest's emotions and humiliate them as well.
Sadodere characters are typically defined by their sadistic tendencies and can be violent and cruel to others and even more cruel and violent to loved ones. They always have a severe lack of empathy, however, some characters that are sadodere can redeem themselves. A sadodere is known to hurt others physically and emotionally because they want to and because they feel pleasure from doing it.
