Many Details About Kengan Ashura Season 2 Are Still Unclear
When exactly the sequel goes start, the responsible parties do not want to reveal it yet. Also, details about the contributors to the production as well as the length of Kengan Ashura Season 2 remain a mystery. It's quite possible that the animation studio Larx Entertainment will return and give us 24 episodes again. However, this is only speculation so far.
What is certain, however, is that the anime will be continued on Netflix. The streaming platform holds all rights to Kengan Ashura and offers the series in the original Japanese sound and with German voice output. The first season was released in 2019.
Kengan Ashura places Toki Taouma, called “Ashura,” at the center of the plot. Gladiator arenas have existed in certain areas since the Edo period. Here, wealthy business owners and merchants hire gladiators to compete against each other in an unarmed fight for all or nothing. After a spectacular victory, Ashura is discovered by Nogi Hideki, the chairman of the Nogi group, and hired to fight for him from then on.
