Tekken: Bloodline tells the turbulent story of young fighter Jin Kazama in six episodes. When will Tekken Bloodline Season 2 be released?
Video game adaptations are not a novelty at Netflix. The streaming service has already given both DOTA and Splinter Cell their own anime series. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, which adapts the open-world game of the same name, will also be released in September. Tekken: Bloodline has been available since this month and is based on a true classic of the gaming world.
Tekken: Bloodline – Anime Fights After Video Game Template
Almost everyone knows Tekken. The video game series, in which you can fight with various martial artists and absurd moves, is an absolute arcade classic, which also appeared for the PlayStation. The storyline of Bloodline starts between the second and third parts and focuses on the popular protagonist Jin Kazama, or rather his fate.
As a child, he was taught by his family's self-defense skills, the traditional Kazama style, by his mother. Nevertheless, he was powerless when a monstrous evil suddenly appeared, destroyed everything he held dear, and changed his life forever. Angry at himself for not being able to stop it, Jin vowed revenge and sought absolute power to obtain it. His quest leads to the ultimate battle on a global scale – the King of Iron Fist tournament.
What Is The Status Of Tekken Bloodline Season 2
As of yet, Tekken Bloodline Season 2 has not been confirmed. However, that doesn't have to be a bad sign, as the streaming giant usually takes several weeks before deciding on the future of a series. Bloodline premiered just a few days ago.
Among Netflix customers, the anime adaptation seems to have been relatively well received. Although we don't have any concrete access figures, Tekken: Bloodline was already in the Netflix top 10 shortly after its launch, where only the portal's currently most popular series ended up. If Netflix confirms Tekken Bloodline Season 2, it is quite possible that we can expect the new episodes in the course of next year.
