Jaclyn Cordeiro is keeping her public message calm after her split from Alex Rodriguez.
The fitness instructor shared a reflective Instagram post about protecting her peace days after she and the former New York Yankees star confirmed they were taking time apart. PEOPLE reported that Cordeiro posted a poolside photo with a caption about boundaries, rest, and releasing the need to control every part of life.
Cordeiro did not name Rodriguez in the post. The timing still drew attention because it came shortly after the end of their three-year relationship became public.
Cordeiro Posted About Peace and Boundaries
Cordeiro framed the message around life in her 40s and wrote that peace has become “the new luxury,” according to PEOPLE.
Her caption focused on three ideas: protecting time, accepting what cannot be controlled, and making space to rest without guilt.
The tone matched the careful language she used when confirming the split. Cordeiro did not describe anger, blame, or a public falling-out.
The Split Became Public Days Earlier
Cordeiro confirmed the breakup to TMZ on May 21, saying she and Rodriguez were “taking some time apart” while maintaining “mutual love, care, and deep respect” for each other and their families.
She also said there was “absolutely no animosity, drama, or negative story here.”
Cordeiro asked for compassion and privacy, saying she was also dealing with a serious health matter involving a family member.
They Went Public in 2022
Rodriguez and Cordeiro were first romantically linked in October 2022. PEOPLE reported that they went Instagram official that December when Rodriguez shared a holiday family photo with Cordeiro and his daughters, Natasha and Ella.
A source told PEOPLE that the former couple remain “good friends” after the split.
Both Rodriguez and Cordeiro are parents. Rodriguez shares Natasha and Ella with ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis, while Cordeiro has two daughters from a previous relationship.
Cordeiro Kept the Message Personal
Cordeiro’s post did not turn the breakup into a public back-and-forth. It stayed close to the wellness language she already uses as a fitness professional and JACFIT founder.
That makes the post easy to read in the context of the split, but not as a direct statement about Rodriguez. The confirmed message is narrower: Cordeiro is talking about peace, boundaries, and rest after a breakup she has described as respectful.
