Andrea Denver and Lexi Sundin finally shared the baby name they had been keeping to themselves for months.
The In the City couple introduced their first child, a daughter named Astrid, in a joint Instagram post on Sept. 3. Hospital photographs showed both parents cradling the newborn, while another close-up captured Astrid wrapping her hand around her father’s finger.
“Our little Astrid,” the couple wrote. They added that it had already been a week with their daughter and that their hearts had “never been so full,” calling parenthood the “best thing we’ve ever done,” according to PEOPLE.
The reveal fulfilled a promise Andrea and Lexi made before Astrid was born. They already knew they were expecting a girl and had settled on a name they loved, but told PEOPLE in June that they planned to keep it private until their daughter’s arrival.
Astrid Had Already Been With Them for a Week

Andrea and Lexi did not announce an exact birth date in their Sept. 3 post. Their caption said only that it had “already been a week” with Astrid, so the public introduction came several days after they became parents.
The carousel focused on their first hospital moments. Astrid appears wrapped in a blanket and wearing a white floral outfit as her parents take turns holding her, while another photograph shows the new family of three together.
The announcement quickly drew congratulations from the Bravoverse. In the City costar Lindsay Hubbard called Astrid “perfect,” former Summer House castmate Luke Gulbranson congratulated the couple, and Danielle Olivera wrote that she already loved little Astrid.
They Wanted a Name That Worked in English and Italian
When Andrea and Lexi announced the pregnancy in June, they explained that their daughter’s name needed to work naturally across both sides of her family. Andrea is Italian, Lexi is American, and they wanted something pronounced the same way in English and Italian.
“Since our daughter will grow up between those two languages, that felt important to us,” they told PEOPLE. The couple said they had found a name they had “grown to love” but were saving the reveal until the baby arrived.
Astrid is the answer they kept private through the final months of Lexi’s pregnancy. The couple had also already revealed they were expecting a girl and said they were excited to imagine what their daughter would be like and who she might resemble.
The Couple Started Trying for a Family Last Fall
Lexi previously said she and Andrea decided in fall 2025 that they were ready to begin trying for a child. Around Christmas, she realized her period was late and took a pregnancy test alone because she did not want both of them getting their hopes up before she knew the result.
When the test came back positive, she immediately went to find Andrea. The couple later described themselves as “completely stunned in the best way” and said they surprised their parents with baby booties and an ultrasound photograph.
Andrea and Lexi first met in 2021 and married in Italy on June 13, 2024. Their ceremony took place at the Duomo di Lonato before the celebration moved to La Rocca di Lonato, a 10th-century castle overlooking the Lake Garda area. Us Weekly revisited their wedding and family plans after Astrid’s arrival.
The couple had already spoken at the time of their wedding about eventually building a family together. Two years later, that plan had become part of their storyline on In the City.
The Pregnancy Became Part of Their ‘In the City’ Story

Andrea and Lexi joined In the City as their married life began shifting toward questions about parenthood. In a January interview with Bravo, Lexi described starting a family as exciting but also “nerve-wracking” because neither of them knew exactly what to expect.
Andrea said he was looking forward to the change and hoped eventually to raise multiple children. He described parenthood as a new chapter that followed naturally from their wedding and said he wanted to be the best parent possible.
The pregnancy was formally announced in June. Bravo reported that Andrea shared photographs of Lexi’s baby bump while writing, “A new chapter begins.”
Astrid Is the Third ‘In the City’ Baby in Less Than Three Months
Danielle Olivera and boyfriend Eoin Heavey became parents first. Their son, Aidan Santos Heavey, was born June 21, 10 weeks early, and remained in the NICU for 63 days before going home in August.
Yvonne Najor and husband Nick Barber followed with son Leonardo Robert Daniel Barber on Aug. 20. Less than three months after Aidan’s birth, Astrid became the third baby welcomed among the In the City cast’s growing group of new parents.
PEOPLE specifically noted that Astrid’s arrival marks the third baby born within the cast in less than three months, reflecting how closely the three pregnancies overlapped. Danielle, Yvonne and Lexi had already been sharing the experience while expecting, and all three couples are now navigating the first months of parenthood at nearly the same time.
