Melissa Rycroft is facing a second allegation of driving while intoxicated in Texas while serving probation for an earlier case. The former Bachelor contestant, 43, was booked on November 1, according to jail records reviewed by Us Weekly.
The new case also includes charges involving an invalid driver’s license and a collision causing damage to a vehicle. Her combined bond was set at $9,000.
Southlake police made the arrest, as they did in her previous case. Attorney Bret Martin declined to comment when contacted by Entertainment Weekly.
Rycroft pleaded guilty to the earlier DWI in August, agreeing to 20 months of probation instead of 280 days in jail. She was also ordered to pay a $2,000 fine.

According to a November 2 report from Irving Weekly, Southlake police responded to a reported hit-and-run at approximately 5:50 p.m. on October 31. A vehicle had struck a Southlake Fire Department ambulance stopped at a stop sign at South Peytonville Avenue and Chimney Works Drive, then left the scene, police said.
Officers located the suspected driver a short time later and identified her as Melissa Rycroft Strickland, the outlet reported. No injuries were reported. She was taken to the Keller Regional Detention Facility for processing, and police said the incident remained under investigation.
Her Earlier Plea Required an Ignition Interlock and Alcohol Restrictions
The previous case followed a September 23, 2025, crash in Southlake. In a statement quoted by PEOPLE, police said officers found a black Cadillac Escalade that had struck a tree. Witnesses reported erratic driving before the collision. No other vehicles were involved, and no injuries were reported.
After evaluating Rycroft and conducting a field sobriety test, officers arrested her. The resulting plea agreement required her to complete 36 hours of community service within 120 days, attend a DWI education program and undergo a substance-abuse evaluation.
Under the agreement, she could not consume or possess alcohol and had to submit to testing when directed. She was also prohibited from driving a vehicle without a camera-equipped ignition interlock device, according to Us Weekly’s August report based on court documents.
The supervision requirements included monthly check-ins with Texas’ Community Supervision and Corrections Department, proof of employment and visits from a supervision officer. She was required to notify the officer if her employment or address changed.

A former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader, Rycroft appeared on Season 13 of The Bachelor in 2009. Jason Mesnick proposed to her during the finale, but ended their engagement on After the Final Rose and pursued runner-up Molly Malaney.
Rycroft subsequently joined Dancing With the Stars as a last-minute replacement for Nancy O’Dell, who had injured her knee. She and professional partner Tony Dovolani finished third that season, according to ABC News‘ contemporary coverage.
She married Tye Strickland in December 2009. The couple have three children and appeared together in the reality series Melissa & Tye.
Rycroft returned to the ballroom for the 2012 all-star season, reuniting with Dovolani. They won the competition ahead of runners-up Shawn Johnson and Derek Hough.
