Brooke Hogan has condemned the sale of her late father Hulk Hogan’s Florida home, sharing angry and emotional Instagram Stories about what the property meant to her. “Enjoy your dirty money,” she wrote in one post.

The wrestling star’s beachfront mansion in Clearwater Beach sold for $5.9 million, while a neighboring guesthouse sold separately for $2.8 million. Both transactions closed on October 23rd.

Hogan assembled the beachfront compound through purchases in 2012 and 2016, using the larger property as his primary residence and the smaller house for guests, according to Realtor.com.

“You took my dad,” Brooke wrote in another Story. She did not identify the people she was addressing or name a particular seller, buyer or recipient of the proceeds.

Brooke, 38, told Us Weekly on October 27th that watching a person’s life and memories become financial transactions felt “deeply unsettling.” She described a divide between people who see the history and affection attached to a home and those focused on its monetary value.

Her Instagram Stories recalled ordinary afternoons with her father: cooking, watching Jerry Springer, playing music and crying together. She remembered greeting him with a hug when he opened the garage door and spending hours sitting beside him.

The property was also where Hogan experienced a medical emergency on July 24th, 2025. According to the police account reported by ABC News, emergency responders answered a cardiac-arrest call and took him to Morton Plant Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Hogan, whose legal name was Terry Gene Bollea, was 71.

The Mansion Went Through Three Major Price Cuts

The main residence entered the market on January 30th with an asking price of $10.989 million. Its MLS listing history shows reductions to about $9 million on April 28th, $7.9 million on June 12th and $6.9 million on September 3rd. The eventual sale price was approximately 46 percent below the original asking price.

The three-story Mediterranean-style house has five bedrooms and 5,074 square feet of living space. Its features include a private elevator, a heated pool and spa, Gulf views and nearly 1,500 square feet of covered outdoor space. Hogan paid $3.33 million for the residence.

He paid another $1.6 million for the neighboring cottage, which has three bedrooms, approximately 2,062 square feet and its own pool. It remains unclear whether the same buyer purchased both properties.

Brooke Described Years of Caregiving Through Surgeries

Brooke’s posts also challenged how others viewed her involvement in her father’s life. She said she had spent roughly 15 years loving and caring for him before eventually stepping back from what she described as a toxic situation.

In the Stories, transcribed by PWInsider, she described working alongside Hogan’s former wife Jennifer McDaniel to manage his care. Brooke said they maintained notebooks and records, collected prescriptions, stayed overnight and alternated shifts while helping him through repeated surgeries.

She accused unnamed people of appearing near the end of his life to benefit financially, while rejecting criticism of her own decision to distance herself. Her account emphasized the years she said she had spent supporting him before that separation.

The House Was Once Part of a Different Future

Brooke said the Clearwater home was where her father and McDaniel had imagined growing old together. She recalled bringing him back there after surgeries and described their eventual breakup as devastating for her, both because she loved McDaniel and because she trusted the care her father received from her.

Hogan and McDaniel divorced in 2021. He married Sky Daily in 2023 and was living with her at the property at the time of his death.

In her statement to Us Weekly, Brooke said she would decide how much more to discuss publicly. “But my silence should never be mistaken for a lack of understanding,” she said.
