Brooklyn Beckham’s DoorDash campaign has brought his estrangement from David and Victoria Beckham back into public view, and a new report claims his parents are worried that a book or documentary could come next.

Woman & Home reports that people close to the family believe David and Victoria are concerned Brooklyn could follow the advertisement with a tell-all book or a streaming-style documentary.

The World Cup commercial shows Brooklyn watching the tournament at home and telling viewers, “You’re probably wondering why I’m watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 from home. It’s not like I don’t have tickets. Um … it’s because … it’s a long story.”

The DoorDash Campaign Makes the Rift Part of the Joke

Brooklyn released the first part of the DoorDash campaign in June. A second video showed him giving away World Cup tickets to a DoorDash driver, saying they could go to “someone else.”

The Independent reported that the full video showed Brooklyn placing a stack of World Cup tickets in a bag before handing them to the driver. The outlet also noted that the ad’s set included items that appeared to reference past public jokes about Brooklyn’s cooking and photography careers.

Woman & Home reported that the campaign is rumored to have earned Brooklyn around $1 million, though neither Brooklyn nor DoorDash has publicly confirmed that figure.

David and Victoria Have Not Publicly Addressed the Ad

David and Victoria have not publicly responded to the DoorDash campaign. The Independent reported that David declined to discuss the family estrangement while receiving his Hollywood Walk of Fame star, saying it was “a private matter.”

Victoria also addressed the wider family situation carefully during an April appearance. According to The Independent, she said she and David have always tried to protect and love their children, but did not give a detailed response to Brooklyn’s allegations.

DoorDash promoted the videos as part of its FIFA World Cup campaign and ticket giveaway. Brooklyn has not publicly explained whether specific details in the ad were meant to reference particular family incidents.

Tell-All Rumors Followed Brooklyn’s January Statement

Brooklyn confirmed the family split in January through a series of Instagram Stories. “I do not want to reconcile with my family,” he wrote, adding that he was “standing up for myself for the first time in my life.”

He alleged that his parents had tried to damage his relationship with Nicola Peltz Beckham and accused the family of prioritizing public image over private relationships. David and Victoria have not issued a detailed public rebuttal to those allegations.

Reports about a possible book began circulating soon afterward, including claims that Brooklyn and Nicola had attracted interest from publishers. Separate reports also suggested that an unscripted streaming project about the dispute had been discussed, but no publisher, platform, production company or release date has been confirmed.

The Latest Report Claims the Family Is Worried

The new Woman & Home report quotes an unnamed source who claims the family is hearing rumors about Brooklyn doing a tell-all book or “Netflix-style exposé” about the rift.

The same report claims David and Victoria are caught between trying to keep peace with their eldest son and protecting the rest of their family from further public fallout.

Woman & Home also reported that Brooklyn is interested in pursuing acting after appearing in the DoorDash campaign, though no specific acting role or project has been announced.
