Chris Pine stepped away from filming his new romantic comedy for a sunny walk through New York City with girlfriend Keana Sky Wenger.
The 46-year-old Star Trek actor was photographed with Wenger on September 16, several days after the couple attended the men’s final at the U.S. Open. Pine wore a pale yellow button-down shirt with brown trousers and black loafers, while Wenger chose a white blouse and jeans, according to Just Jared.
Pine has been spending several weeks in New York filming The Catch, an upcoming romantic comedy opposite Emma Stone. The costars were photographed shooting a kissing scene in Brooklyn on September 11, with Stone’s husband, Dave McCary, directing.
Pine and Wenger have kept their relationship largely outside interviews and social media since they were first linked in 2023, although they have made several higher-profile appearances together this year, including the Golden Globes, French Open and U.S. Open.
Pine and Wenger Have Been Linked Since 2023
Pine and Wenger were first publicly linked in August 2023 after they were photographed together during a boat trip near Sardinia, Italy. Reports later identified Wenger as a designer who had previously worked in hospitality in Los Angeles.
The couple reportedly met while Wenger was working at a Los Angeles restaurant, although neither has publicly offered a detailed account of how their relationship began. Since 2023, they have been photographed together during trips to Italy and on outings in Los Angeles and New York.
Pine has generally kept his romantic life private, and he and Wenger have made few public comments about one another. Their relationship has instead become visible through occasional vacations, sporting events and other appearances together.
The Golden Globes and Tennis Brought More Public Appearances
Wenger joined Pine at the Golden Globes in January, where the couple attended in coordinating black evening looks. Pine was there as a presenter, and the two were photographed together inside the ceremony.
They appeared together again at Roland-Garros in June. PEOPLE photographed the couple at the French Open on June 1, when Pine wore a light blazer and Wenger chose a navy dress. They returned to the tournament the following day for another match.
Pine and Wenger continued the tennis outings in New York this month when they attended the U.S. Open men’s final. Their September 16 walk through the city came only a few days later and during the same stretch in which Pine has been working on his next movie.

Pine and Stone were photographed filming an extended kissing scene in Brooklyn on September 11. Pine’s character had his right arm in a sling during the sequence, while Stone had also spent part of the day shooting scenes outside a house with McCary directing.
The Catch has been described as a romantic comedy combining elements of Bull Durham and Notting Hill, with Stone playing a woman described as the most hated person in baseball. The cast also includes Tim Robbins, Ashley Padilla and Druski.
Jen Statsky and Travis Helwig wrote the latest version of the screenplay, which originated with Patrick Kang and Michael Levin. McCary directs Stone for the project after previously collaborating with her through their Fruit Tree production company.
Universal Pictures has scheduled The Catch for theatrical release on May 21, 2027.
