Russell Wilson spent nearly two years publicly campaigning for “Baby Cinco.” Ciara has now confirmed that the fifth child in their blended family is on the way.
The 40-year-old singer announced her pregnancy with Wilson on Sept. 6 through a backyard video featuring four personalized shirts hanging on a clothesline. After displaying shirts for Future, Sienna, Win and Amora, she added a blank baby onesie to represent the newest arrival.
The baby will be Ciara’s fifth child and her fourth with Wilson, 37. The couple already shares Sienna Princess, 9, Win Harrison, 6, and Amora Princess, 2, while Ciara welcomed Future Zahir, 12, during her previous relationship with rapper Future.
Wilson has consistently described Future as his son and has spoken publicly about accepting the responsibility of helping raise him after beginning his relationship with Ciara.

Ciara’s pregnancy announcement showed her standing beside the clothesline in a white tank top and jeans with her growing baby bump visible. The family theme continued through the names on the shirts before the blank onesie appeared at the end. Ciara and Wilson did not reveal the baby’s sex or due date.
Ciara and Wilson later posed together and held up five fingers toward the camera, reinforcing the baby-number-five theme. They captioned the post, “One more person to Love”. Wilson responded to the announcement with the nickname he has been publicly using for another child since 2024, “Baby Cinco!”
Russell Wilson Started Publicly Asking for ‘Cinco’ in 2024
The idea of another child predates Wilson’s first widely noticed social-media pitch. Ciara revealed in July 2026 that shortly after she gave birth to Amora in December 2023, Wilson was already asking, “So, cinco?” She joked that she told him to slow down and enjoy the baby they had just welcomed.
Wilson took the campaign public in October 2024 after Ciara posted a series of photographs in a black leather outfit. “I’m ready when you are,” he wrote in the comments, adding, “We can call him Cinco.”
Ciara acknowledged that another baby was possible during a November 2024 appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show. She said she could see “the road of baby number five,” but wanted to keep working, dancing and giving herself more time before another pregnancy.
Wilson kept going. In March 2025, after Ciara posted dance-rehearsal photos, he jokingly asked what color wallpaper she wanted for Cinco’s room. By summer 2026, the joke had become an openly discussed family plan.
Ciara Said in July That Another Baby Was Still Possible
Only two months before the pregnancy announcement, Ciara made clear that Wilson had not abandoned the idea. In a July 10 interview, she said motherhood remained her “favorite job of all” and admitted she could not say that a fifth child would never happen.
She again recalled Wilson raising “Cinco” almost immediately after Amora’s birth and joked that she had called the timing “disrespectful” while laughing about how quickly he wanted to expand the family.
Her answer had also changed subtly from the more cautious position she took in 2024. Ciara said she could imagine another baby because motherhood was such a central part of her life, ultimately adding that it could happen “when the time is right.”
Wilson was still publicly lobbying that summer. At Fanatics Fest, he said the couple had four “amazing” children, that he wanted five and that he hoped he could convince Ciara to make “Cinco” happen.
The Couple’s Youngest Child Was Born in 2023
Ciara and Wilson welcomed Amora Princess Wilson in December 2023. She joined Sienna, born in April 2017, and Win, born in July 2020, as the couple’s third child together.
Ciara became a mother for the first time when Future Zahir was born in May 2014. She began dating Wilson the following year, and the couple married at Peckforton Castle in England in July 2016.
Wilson has repeatedly spoken about becoming a stepfather to Future as a responsibility he chose, describing that part of their relationship as a gift. The couple marked their 10th wedding anniversary in July 2026.
Wilson Retired From the NFL Three Months Before the Announcement
Wilson announced his retirement from the NFL in June after 14 seasons. He spent the bulk of his career with the Seattle Seahawks, won Super Bowl XLVIII and earned 10 Pro Bowl selections before later playing for the Denver Broncos, Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Giants.
His next chapter will keep him close to football without requiring another season on the field. Wilson joined CBS Sports as an analyst on The NFL Today, announcing the move in the same farewell video in which he thanked the game, his family and the people who had supported his career. Ciara celebrated his retirement by calling her husband “the best in the world” and saying there would only ever be one No. 3.
