DJ Pauly D spent years as one of Jersey Shore‘s most recognizable bachelors. On Sunday afternoon in Las Vegas, he finally pulled out a ring.
Pauly, whose real name is Paul DelVecchio Jr., proposed to longtime girlfriend Nikki Hall during his Sept. 27 DJ set at OMNIA Dayclub at Caesars Palace. Us Weekly described footage showing Pauly walking Hall into the center of the crowd, taking her hand and dropping to one knee as she covered her mouth in surprise.
Hall nodded yes, Pauly slipped the ring onto her finger and the two embraced before he turned back toward the crowd and announced, “She said yes!” The proposal happened during Pauly’s Official Olympia Weekend Pool Party, with Tao Group listing his Sept. 27 OMNIA Dayclub set from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The engagement comes after roughly six years of dating. Pauly and Hall first met in 2019 while filming MTV’s Double Shot at Love, but their relationship developed after the first season ended and became serious as they spent the pandemic together in Las Vegas.

The proposal unfolded in the middle of an environment Pauly knows better than almost anywhere else: a packed Las Vegas DJ set. As “All I Do Is Win” played, he brought Hall toward the center of the stage area before taking her hand and dropping to one knee. Just Jared described Bruno Mars’ “Marry You” coming on as Pauly opened the ring box and asked Hall to marry him.
Hall appeared stunned for several moments before accepting, after which Pauly placed the ring on her finger and pulled her into a hug. OMNIA shared footage from the moment, and Pauly reposted the proposal as congratulations began appearing across social media.
Hall Says They Never Rushed the Next Chapter

She wrote that they had spent the years “choosing each other” and “building a life we love,” while refusing to advance the relationship simply because other people expected them to.
“No pressure. No timeline. Just ours and God’s,” Hall wrote before calling the proposal “the easiest YES I’ve ever said.” The Ashley noted that the message came only weeks after viewers heard Hall discuss marriage on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, where she said she wanted to reach that point with Pauly even though they had not yet had a serious conversation about getting married.
Hall also spoke during the show about eventually wanting at least one child and about the relationship she had developed with Pauly’s daughter, Amabella.
Their Relationship Did Not Actually Start on ‘Double Shot at Love’
Pauly and Hall first met in 2019 on Double Shot at Love with DJ Pauly D & Vinny, where Hall competed for Pauly’s attention alongside the show’s other contestants. She made it to the end, but Pauly ultimately chose not to begin a relationship with anyone when the first season concluded.
The more important part of their story happened afterward. Us Weekly’s account of the engagement notes that the two remained connected after filming, while subsequent seasons showed them finding their way back to one another. By 2020, they were quarantining together in Las Vegas, a period Pauly later described as having brought them closer.
Hall Became Part of Pauly’s Family Before the Engagement
The relationship had already passed a milestone Pauly once described as especially important to him, Hall becoming close with his daughter, Amabella. In a 2023 PEOPLE interview, Pauly called Hall meeting Amabella a major step in their relationship and said the two quickly developed their own bond.
He explained that both were nervous before meeting but that things went well enough that Hall and Amabella eventually began FaceTiming regularly. Pauly said at the time that seeing them care about each other made him happy, giving the relationship a family dimension well before he got down on one knee.
Vinny Guadagnino Has Already Reacted to the Engagement
Pauly’s longtime Jersey Shore partner-in-crime did not let the engagement pass quietly. Hours after the proposal became public, Vinny Guadagnino posted that he was “not OK,” pairing the joke with an AI-generated video portraying himself outside in the rain while Pauly and Hall celebrated together.
Us Weekly described the post as Guadagnino’s tongue-in-cheek reaction to seeing his longtime friend take a step neither man was exactly known for during their early Jersey Shore years. Pauly and Hall have not announced a wedding date.
