Giannina Gibelli’s wedding week has moved from planning spreadsheets to Venice canals.
The Love Is Blind alum and Bachelorette veteran Blake Horstmann shared photos from their wedding welcome party in Venice, Italy, giving followers a first look at the destination celebration before they say “I do.”
The couple posted the carousel on Wednesday, June 17, with the caption, “Sneak peek at our welcome party ❤️,” according to People.
Their 2-year-old son, Heath, appeared in the photos, and several familiar faces from Love Is Blind joined the festivities.

People reported that the photos showed Gibelli and Horstmann dancing, walking hand in hand, riding through the city by boat and celebrating against Venice’s canal backdrop. Other shots captured pasta, lasagna, San Pellegrino and scenic views around the city.
Gibelli leaned into the bridal setting with a form-fitting lace dress, a Spanish-style lace veil, a statement necklace and her hair worn down. Horstmann kept to the soft wedding-week palette in a white T-shirt, off-white sport coat, brown pants, sunglasses and a silver chain.

The Venice party also brought out several Love Is Blind alums. People reported that Taylor Krause, Colleen Reed, Alexa Lemieux and Raven Ross were among the familiar faces in town for the wedding festivities.
Krause shared her own Instagram carousel from the trip and wrote, “You’re going to want to turn up the sound on the last slide ✨ Happy wedding week G&B.”
Gibelli became one of the breakout figures from the first season of Love Is Blind, where her wedding to Damian Powers ended with him saying “no” at the altar.
They Picked Up Their Marriage License Before Flying to Europe

The Venice welcome party came just weeks after Gibelli and Horstmann shared another milestone: they obtained their marriage license in Colorado. People reported that the couple posted the update on June 1 with the caption “one step closer,” while Horstmann said they were “now one step closer to being husband and wife.”
Gibelli explained on Instagram Stories that they were able to leave with it unsigned so they could still have the signing ceremony at the wedding the way she had pictured it.
The couple has the paperwork ready, but the formal wedding moment is still part of the Italy celebration.
Their Wedding Plan Was Built Around Europe
Gibelli has been open about why she and Horstmann planned a European wedding. During an appearance on Jason Tartick’s Trading Secrets podcast, she said she had done extensive research and found a beautiful venue abroad while getting more value than she believed they would get in the United States.
The couple is funding the wedding themselves. Gibelli said she found people willing to work with them and expected to get a “banger” wedding for “probably a little less than half” of what a similar celebration would cost in the States.
Gibelli and Horstmann got engaged in Madrid, Spain, on Oct. 30, 2024, after meeting through the reality crossover series All Star Shore. They welcomed Heath Orion Horstmann on March 29, 2024, and are now in Venice with family and friends for the final stretch before the ceremony.
