Gigi Hadid is back at Stuart Weitzman 10 years after beginning a five-season run as one of the luxury footwear brand’s campaign faces.
Hadid stars in Stuart Weitzman’s Fall 2026 campaign celebrating the company’s 40th anniversary alongside ballerina Misty Copeland and Chinese actress Yang Mi. Hadid and Copeland were photographed in New York City, while Mi’s images were shot in Shanghai.
“I will always have a special connection to Stuart Weitzman as the brand was one of my first-ever luxury fashion partners,” Hadid said in comments shared with PEOPLE. She called returning 10 years later, now as a mother, a “full-circle moment.”
Hadid first became a Stuart Weitzman campaign face in Spring 2016 and continued through Spring 2018. During that run, she also moved beyond modeling to work with the company on two limited-edition footwear projects.
Hadid Appeared in Five Consecutive Stuart Weitzman Campaigns
Hadid’s original Stuart Weitzman run covered five consecutive seasons from Spring 2016 through Spring 2018.
In 2016, she also designed the Gigi Boot, a hiking-inspired heeled bootie offered in metallic and black versions. Vogue reported that Stuart Weitzman tied the collaboration to Pencils of Promise and pledged to fund three schools in Ghana, Guatemala and Laos.
Hadid returned to design with the company in 2017, co-creating the Eyelove and Eyelovemore pointed-toe mules. Both incorporated evil-eye motifs, and the project again supported Pencils of Promise.
Her fifth campaign arrived in Spring 2018, when she appeared with Kate Moss and Jordan Barrett. It was the first advertising campaign to photograph Hadid and Moss together.
The Fall 2026 Campaign Returns to Stuart Weitzman’s Stretch Shoes
The new campaign marks Stuart Weitzman’s 40th anniversary and focuses on stretch footwear, a category the company traces back to its founding in 1986.
Hadid appears in New York wearing several tall stretch styles from the Fall 2026 collection. The anniversary range also extends the construction into loafers, ballet flats, wedges and sneakers.
The company’s 40th Anniversary Stretch Collection includes updated versions of longstanding designs alongside newer styles. The 5050 boot, introduced in 1993, remains one of Stuart Weitzman’s signature stretch silhouettes.
Brand president Jonathan Lelonek said the anniversary gave Stuart Weitzman an opportunity to bring back Hadid, Copeland and Mi, all of whom had previously represented the company.
Misty Copeland Returned Months After Hip Surgery

Copeland previously starred in Stuart Weitzman’s Holiday 2019 campaign, a dance-centered project called “Step Inside.”
Her return for Fall 2026 came only months after hip surgery. Copeland joked about the timing in the new campaign announcement, saying she “jumped” at the opportunity before correcting herself: “well, not jumped, seeing it was only months after my hip surgery.”
Copeland retired from American Ballet Theatre in 2025 after a 25-year career with the company. She became ABT’s first Black female principal dancer in 2015 and has continued working as an author and through the Misty Copeland Foundation.
Yang Mi Is Back After Two Stuart Weitzman Collaborations in 2019
Yang Mi first partnered with Stuart Weitzman in 2019 and co-created two limited-edition capsules for the Spring and Fall seasons that year.
Her Fall 2026 campaign was photographed in Shanghai, while Hadid and Copeland represented New York. Mi said the original partnership introduced her to a broader international fashion audience.
The three returning ambassadors now front the same anniversary campaign, with Stuart Weitzman’s current collection including the Stuart Power Boot 75, 5050 Gisele Boot, Ultrastassi Boot and Stassi Stretch Bootie alongside stretch loafers, flats, wedges and sneakers.
