Heidi Klum plans to join husband Tom Kaulitz in Frankfurt after his tour schedule kept him away from her Halloween party. She identified the German city in an October 31 interview with BUNTE, ahead of Tokio Hotel’s November 5 concert there.

Klum, 53, hosted the 25th edition of her annual celebration at Cathédrale Restaurant in New York on October 31. She arrived dressed as a giant version of her own severed left hand.

She told the German magazine she had also wanted to accompany Kaulitz at the start of the band’s tour. Her professional commitments meant she could not attend the opening, just as he could not make her party.

Tom’s twin brother Bill, Tokio Hotel’s lead singer, was missing from the celebration too. The group’s official itinerary placed its opening shows in London on October 28 and Paris on October 30.

Tom and Bill Ruled Out a Transatlantic Halloween Trip

The brothers explained the clash in September on their Kaulitz Hills podcast. According to a September 30 dpa report, they considered flying to New York and back, then rejected the idea because of the risks to their concert plans. Tom explicitly said their absence did not reflect an argument or a marital crisis.

Bill also distinguished Klum’s professional Halloween event from a private family occasion such as a birthday. Their bandmates, bassist Georg Listing and drummer Gustav Schäfer, were staying away as well.

The immediate conflict was a November 1 booking at Hamburg’s Barclays Arena, the night after the party. Promoter River Concerts listed the performance as sold out, with an 8 p.m. start. The dates had already been advertised in the band’s official arena-tour trailer, released in June 2025.

Kaulitz Could Have Been the Matching Right Hand

Klum had a potential part for her husband in the costume. “He could have been my right hand!” she told USA TODAY at the party. In the same report, she explained that she leads their costume planning: “he totally lets me be the boss when it comes to costumes.”

The couple’s previous pairings included Klum as a worm and Kaulitz as a fisherman in 2022. They appeared as two versions of E.T. in 2024, then as Medusa and a warrior turned to stone in 2025.

This year’s special-effects team reproduced her engagement ring, wedding band and thumb ring, along with the “Tom” tattoo on her ring finger. “A little bit of Tom is with me,” she told The Associated Press. Klum also shared a photograph of her actual hand on Instagram with the caption “Tom i miss you,” E! News reported.

Klum Is Looking Forward to Time Backstage

Klum said she was especially looking forward to watching Kaulitz perform in his element again. In her BUNTE interview, she also joked that there was generally at least as much happening backstage at a Tokio Hotel show as in front of the stage.

The band’s itinerary lists Brussels on November 2 and Amsterdam on November 4 before the Frankfurt stop. Afterward, the tour continues to Berlin on November 7 and Nuremberg on November 8, with further European dates through November 23.

Festhalle Frankfurt marks the concert as sold out. Doors are scheduled to open at 6:30 p.m., with the performance beginning at 8 p.m.
