A pair of sneakers Justin Bieber wore during his performance at the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final has sold for more than six times its highest auction estimate.
Christie’s expected the custom SKYLRK shoes to bring between $2,000 and $4,000. The auction house reported a final price of $26,400 after online bidding closed on July 29.
Bieber debuted the previously unreleased “Latte” colorway of his brand’s Matter Daddy sneaker while performing during the first halftime show staged at a FIFA World Cup Final.
The shoes were offered by Global Citizen through Christie’s One Goal auction, which benefited the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund.

The $26,400 price realized was 6.6 times Christie’s upper estimate. Christie’s described the shoes as Matter Daddy low-top sneakers in SKYLRK’s “Latte” colorway, featuring light pink accents around the laces and heel.
The size 9 shoes showed minor wear and scuffing from Bieber’s performance, according to the condition report. The listing did not indicate that he had signed them.
Bieber wore the pair on July 19 at New York New Jersey Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. He completed the look with a deconstructed green shirt layered over a white collared polo, baggy denim shorts and ribbed white socks, all from SKYLRK.

The World Cup appearance marked the public debut of the Matter Daddy sneaker in the light beige “Latte” colorway. Images from the performance showed the rounded, low-profile design beneath Bieber’s oversized stage outfit. The colorway had not been commercially released when he wore it during the final.
After Jason Sudeikis introduced him while appearing as his Ted Lasso character, Bieber performed an acoustic version of “Everything Hallelujah” from his 2025 album, Swag II. The stripped-back performance featured Bieber singing with a guitar, creating a quieter interlude within a show otherwise built around dance routines, orchestral arrangements and large ensemble numbers.
Vogue reported that Bieber’s entire outfit came from SKYLRK, turning the appearance into a global showcase for his fashion label as well as his music.
The Shoes Came From the First World Cup Final Halftime Show
The July 19 production was the first halftime show staged during a FIFA World Cup Final. Global Citizen produced the show, while Coldplay frontman Chris Martin served as its curator. Madonna, BTS, Bieber, Shakira and Burna Boy were among the headline performers.
The production also included the Muppets and Electric Mayhem, the New York Philharmonic, Venezuela’s Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra and Iranian violinist Bijan Mortazavi under conductor Gustavo Dudamel.
Bieber’s performance took place during the final between Spain and Argentina, connecting the auctioned shoes to both the historic entertainment production and the tournament’s championship match. The show concluded with “We Dance,” an original song performed by Coldplay and the PS22 Chorus.
The One Goal Auction Raised More Than $650,000
The sneakers were included in One Goal: An Auction to Benefit the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, an online Christie’s sale held from July 22 through July 29.
The 27-lot auction combined World Cup memorabilia with clothing and other items associated with the halftime show. Offerings included match-used soccer equipment, signed jerseys and pieces connected to performers including Madonna, BTS and Shakira.
Christie’s reported a total of $652,630 for the completed sale. The auction page states that the total represents hammer prices plus buyer’s premiums.
