Kylie Kelce already has an idea for a future guest on Not Gonna Lie, and this one would require a little help from Kensington Palace.
Kelce used the Sept. 24 episode of her podcast to publicly invite Catherine, Princess of Wales, after watching her pick up a shinty stick during a recent visit to Scotland. She praised Kate’s athletic form before suggesting the two have enough common ground to talk about sports and parenting, according to PEOPLE and Town & Country.
“We got a couple things in common,” Kelce said as she made her pitch. She ended the invitation with an unusually polite bit of pressure: “We’d love to have you. No pressure. Please.”
There is already a Kelce connection in Kate’s household. Prince William joined Jason and Travis Kelce on New Heights in July, something Kylie immediately brought up while making the case for his wife to visit her own show.

The invitation was inspired by footage from Prince William and Kate’s Sept. 17 visit to the Isle of Bute in Scotland. The Royal Family recorded their stop at Bute Shinty and Amateur Athletic Club as part of the day’s official engagements.
During the visit, both royals tried shinty, the traditional Scottish stick-and-ball sport. Kate missed her first attempt before finding more success with later shots, according to PA reporting.
Kelce knew viewers would point out that Kate was not technically playing field hockey. “For everyone in the comments who are about to correct me, I’m aware that she’s actually playing the Scottish sport of shinty,” she said.
Kate played hockey at Marlborough College and continued playing for the University of St Andrews team, according to her official royal biography.
Kelce also has a substantial field-hockey background. She was a four-year player at Cabrini University and earned All-CSAC honors throughout her college career. Cabrini later highlighted her work coaching and running youth clinics designed to grow the sport.

Kelce’s proposed interview agenda was simple, field hockey and children. She and Jason Kelce are raising four daughters, while William and Kate have three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Kelce suggested that the combination of parenting and sports already gives her and Kate enough material for a conversation.
Instead of turning the invitation into a formal royal request, Kelce kept it in the loose style of her podcast. She floated the idea directly to Kate, noted their shared interests and made clear that the door was open if the princess ever wanted to join her.
Prince William Has Already Done the Other Kelce Podcast
Kelce had one more argument working in her favor, her husband has already interviewed Kate’s husband. Prince William appeared on the July 3 New Heights episode with Jason and Travis Kelce.
The conversation covered England’s World Cup campaign, William’s support for Aston Villa, the NFL’s growth in Britain and the way sports can bring people together.
Family also entered the conversation. Jason brought up raising four daughters, prompting William to congratulate him and joke, “I don’t know how you do that.” ABC News also reported on William’s surprise appearance.
The men already knew one another before the podcast. Jason and Travis met William, George and Charlotte backstage at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour stop at London’s Wembley Stadium in June 2024.
