Meredith Marks Says She DJed Less Than Two Weeks After Her Facelift: ‘Down for 48 Hours’

Meredith Marks says she scheduled a facelift in the middle of her DJ tour and was performing again about 12 days after surgery.

“I was down for 48 hours, and after that I was pretty much fine,” Marks, 54, told Page Six at the Virtual Reali-Tea Awards in New York City on Oct. 6th.

“I wasn’t running around and going crazy or anything,” she said of those early days.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star underwent the procedure in February with Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Garo Kassabian, whom she praised as a “genius” during the interview.

Seeing Another Patient Helped Her Choose a Surgeon

In a September first-person account for Marie Claire, Marks said she began considering surgery after feeling that her face looked heavier than she wanted. She wanted a refreshed appearance that reflected how young and healthy she felt.

Marks consulted several surgeons before choosing Kassabian, who had been recommended by The Real Housewives of Dubai alum Caroline Stanbury.

She recalled seeing a man in his waiting room whose appearance gave her no indication that he had recently undergone a facelift. Marks said she was impressed by how far along he seemed in his recovery.

Kassabian described her operation to the magazine as a customized face and neck lift that combined endoscopic and deeper-plane techniques.

Her Recovery Included a Nurse and a Chin Wrap

Marks said she stayed with a nurse immediately after surgery, sleeping extensively while taking medication and dealing with discomfort. She recalled becoming mentally clearer as the initial grogginess eased. She had expected heavier bruising and a longer stretch away from other people, she said.

She wore a chin wrap covering her sutures and said she did not need a traditional head wrap. She also said she used red-light therapy and copper peptides during recovery.

Her Facelift Became Part of RHOSLC Season 7

About 10 days after the operation, Marks joined a production meeting on camera wearing a cowboy hat. She expected the team to recognize immediately that her appearance had changed.

When nobody mentioned it, she removed the hat and told them herself. Even then, Marks recalled, the people in the meeting needed her to explain what she had done. She said she had always planned to be open about the surgery.

The procedure took place between Seasons 6 and 7. During Season 7, Episode 2, Marks told her castmates she had undergone a facelift about a month earlier and was still following instructions against skiing or drinking, according to Bravo.

Marks made her DJ debut in Pittsburgh in May 2025, then played Pride events in Los Angeles and New York, Bravo reported. Her tagline for the new season paired the operation with her music career: “This year, I’m turning up the bass and showing off my new face.”

Marks Won Style Icon of the Year at the VRT Awards

For the Edison Ballroom ceremony, Marks wore a structured Balmain gown with strong shoulders, ruching and a thigh-high slit. The design is listed at $3,450.

She won the fan-voted Style Icon of the Year category over fellow nominees Paris Hilton, Ariana Madix and RHOSLC castmate Bronwyn Newport. Hosts Danny Murphy and Evan Real announced the result.
