Pete Davidson had rare public praise for Kim Kardashian while talking about her acting career on The Pete Davidson Show.
The comedian spoke about Kardashian during a conversation with Nikki Glaser, who costars with her in the upcoming Netflix comedy The Fifth Wheel. Davidson, who dated Kardashian from 2021 to 2022, called his ex “superhuman” and praised the way she keeps working through intense public attention.
According to TMZ, Davidson said he learned from Kardashian that “no matter what’s going on” in the news, a person can still keep moving and get things done.

Davidson’s comments focused on Kardashian’s discipline rather than their former relationship. He said she knows how to put public noise aside and continue with her work, even when criticism is loud.
“She’s superhuman,” Davidson said, according to E! News.
He also praised her confidence, saying she can keep going without letting the outside reaction control her choices.
He Also Praised Her Acting Pivot
Davidson sounded especially impressed by Kardashian’s move into scripted work. Entertainment Weekly reported that he recalled Kardashian telling him during their relationship that she wanted to become an actress.
Davidson said he supported the idea at the time and later watched her follow through. “She’s so good at acting,” he said, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Kardashian has taken on more scripted projects in recent years, including American Horror Story: Delicate and Ryan Murphy’s legal drama All’s Fair. She also stars in and produces The Fifth Wheel, the Netflix comedy that connects Glaser to the conversation.
Nikki Glaser Said Kardashian Surprised Her Too
Glaser also praised Kardashian during the episode. E! News reported that Glaser described Kardashian as smart and determined, and said she exceeded expectations while working on The Fifth Wheel.
The film, directed by Eva Longoria, stars Kardashian alongside Glaser, Fortune Feimster, and Brenda Song. PEOPLE previously reported that the R-rated comedy follows a group of high school friends whose Las Vegas trip is disrupted by an outsider played by Kardashian.
Glaser’s comments gave Davidson a natural opening to talk about Kardashian without turning the interview into a relationship recap.

Davidson and Kardashian began dating after she hosted Saturday Night Live in 2021. They split in 2022 after about nine months together.
The relationship drew heavy attention at the time, especially because it unfolded while Kardashian’s divorce from Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, was still part of a larger public story.
Davidson’s latest comments did not revisit the old drama. He spoke about Kardashian’s work ethic, acting ambition, and ability to handle scrutiny years after their relationship ended.
