Former Teen Mom: Young + Pregnant cast member Rachel Beaver says she exchanged private messages with Lil Wayne while attempting to arrange an in-person meeting with the rapper.
Screenshots published by entertainment outlets appear to show discussions about flights, childcare and scheduling the proposed visit around Beaver’s birthday. The plans never progressed beyond the messages, and the two did not meet.
The Ashley’s Reality Roundup first published Beaver’s account on June 3rd. TMZ revisited the story approximately two months later and released additional details from the alleged exchange.
The Ashley said it reviewed videos showing that the initial direct messages came from Wayne’s official Instagram account. Wayne has not publicly confirmed that he participated in the subsequent text conversations.
The Exchange Started With a Joke About Jenelle Evans
Beaver told TMZ that she contacted Wayne after people watching one of her TikTok livestreams encouraged her to message him. Her opening message referenced former Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans, who previously claimed that Wayne had flown her to Los Angeles.
Beaver allegedly wrote, “Fly me out I won’t say anything like the last one.” The screenshots appear to show Wayne asking for her phone number before the conversation moved from Instagram to text messages. According to The Ashley, Beaver supplied her number after Wayne responded to the direct messages.
The Messages Discussed Flights, Childcare and Beaver’s Birthday

The alleged texts show Beaver explaining that she needed time to arrange childcare before traveling. The conversation continued intermittently as the pair attempted to find a suitable date.
Beaver later suggested arranging the visit around her April 8th birthday. The person identified as Wayne reportedly assured her that she would not be expected to pay for the trip.
One message published by The Ashley read, “Baby u ain’t abt to pay for a damn thing with me.” Other brief texts included “want u,” “hey baby” and additional affectionate language. The Ashley reported that the two continued discussing a possible meeting through the spring. No flight was ultimately purchased.
An Identification Problem Ended the Proposed Trip
Beaver said she was unable to travel because of a problem with her identification. She told TMZ that she needed to obtain a replacement ID and asked to reschedule the visit.
Communication reportedly faded after the delay. Beaver later sent another greeting, but she said the message appeared green on her phone, which led her to believe that she may have been blocked.
She acknowledged that Wayne had sometimes taken extended periods to respond during their earlier conversations. Beaver said she has not spoken with him since the proposed trip fell apart.
Wayne Has Not Confirmed Beaver’s Account

Beaver said she attempted to contact Wayne again after reports in May claimed that he had become engaged. Wayne later denied being engaged and said that the relationship behind the reports had ended.
Her story has drawn comparisons with Jenelle Evans’ earlier account. Evans claimed in 2025 that Wayne contacted her online, paid for her flight to Los Angeles and met her at his studio.
Evans said Wayne wanted to hook up but that she declined because she wanted to have dinner and get to know him first. Representatives for Wayne and Evans did not comment when PEOPLE reported her claims.
