Grandma Droniak says her retirement home tried to shut down her party era, but the 96-year-old influencer is not giving up gossip nights.

Lillian Droniak, the social media creator known online as Grandma Droniak, claimed in a viral video that she received a formal warning over late-night parties in her room. People reported that she posted the clip to TikTok and Instagram on June 11.

Droniak said the letter warned that parties were not allowed, alcohol could not be served to other residents, and repeated incidents could affect her visitor privileges or residency status.

Her answer was not exactly an apology. Droniak told viewers she pays $12,000 a month to live there and still planned to have her girlfriends over to drink and gossip.

In the video, Droniak read from what she described as a warning letter from the retirement home. People reported that the letter cited noise complaints, gatherings in her room, alcohol being served to other residents, and people leaving her room around 1 a.m.

The retirement home was not identified in People’s report. Droniak has not publicly shared the facility’s name.

She did not sound interested in a quiet-night policy. “I love to party,” she said in the video.

Droniak followed the warning-letter video with another post on June 12. People reported that the clip showed her looking into a mirror with a martini glass visible on her dresser.

The text over the video said she was hungover from the night before. In the caption, Droniak wrote that her nursing home could not stop her from partying through the last chapter of her life.

A representative for Droniak told People that the situation “actually happened” and had since been worked out with the home.

Late Visitors Are Still Allowed

According to People, Droniak’s representative said she is still allowed to have people in her room late, but she cannot provide alcoholic drinks.

That leaves her with a slightly quieter version of the same routine: friends can still come by, but Grandma Droniak cannot be the one pouring.

People shared the story on X after publishing its report, sending the clip beyond Droniak’s own followers.

She Has Turned Retirement Home Life Into Content

Droniak has built a large online following with short videos about dating, outfits, social rules, aging, and life as a grandmother who knows exactly how to land a punchline.

People reported that she has lived in the retirement home for two years. She first told followers in June 2024 that she had moved there after falling and breaking her leg.

Since then, retirement-home life has become part of her account. She has posted about parties, dating drama, romantic prospects, and her 96th birthday celebration inside the home.
