Blue Ivy Carter is reportedly looking at film producing as she builds a public career outside the music world most closely tied to Beyoncé and Jay-Z.
The Daily Mail, citing insiders, reported that the 14-year-old is interested in producing films, including coming-of-age stories for girls around her age. Blue Ivy, Beyoncé and Jay-Z have not publicly announced a film slate or formal producing company.
The report comes as Blue Ivy continues to draw attention at public events with her parents. Teen Vogue reported that she recently appeared with Jay-Z at his Reasonable Doubt 30th anniversary pop-up in Manhattan, where she posed beside him in a Fear of God hoodie, Jaded London jeans and a navy Balenciaga bag.

The Daily Mail report said Blue Ivy is looking at a behind-the-camera path rather than simply following her parents into recording careers.
The outlet said one alleged area of interest is producing films for girls her age. The report also framed the move through the celebrity-child conversation around access, famous parents and public expectations.
No public statement from Blue Ivy or her parents has confirmed the reported producing plans. The Daily Mail also referenced comparisons with other high-profile celebrity children, including North West, but Blue Ivy has not announced a rivalry or public competition with West.

Jay-Z said Blue Ivy became involved in nearly every number before he had to pull her from some songs. He also told GQ that she is a strong pianist with perfect pitch and can teach herself songs by ear.
