A stolen-truck investigation in western Kentucky turned into a cross-state property-crime case after deputies said the same suspect entered an elementary school and later left the truck near a Tennessee bay where a boat was allegedly stolen.
Steven Price, 43, of Murray, was arrested Monday, June 15, on a Calloway County warrant tied to an April 29 incident, according to KFVS.
The Calloway County Sheriff’s Office said Price is accused of stealing a truck from Crossland Road in Kentucky.
During the investigation, deputies said they determined Price later entered a Calloway County elementary school, where he placed multiple items into a large trash bag and backpack.
The Stolen Truck Was Found In Tennessee

Investigators believe Price also stole a boat from that location, KFVS reported.
KBSI reported that Price is facing charges in both Kentucky and Tennessee.
