Britney Spears turned a new dance video into a personal comment about motherhood, then later removed the caption that sparked the coverage.
The pop star shared a clip of herself dancing while holding a ukulele. In the original caption, quoted by TMZ, Spears wrote that she bought the instrument in Mexico “in hopes one day I can have another baby.”
The video remained on Spears’ Instagram account afterward, but the baby-related caption was no longer visible. Spears did not say she was pregnant.

Spears danced in a yellow slip dress, black boots and a hat while holding the ukulele. The caption, quoted before it disappeared from her account, began with Spears calling it “an emotional day” and writing about guitars, “baby aliens” and “gentle strings.”
Page Six also reported the baby line from the original caption, writing that Spears said she bought the ukulele in Mexico with the hope of having another child someday. The caption was later removed, leaving the video without that explanation on her account.

Spears Is Already a Mother of Two
Spears shares Sean Preston and Jayden James with Kevin Federline, whom she was married to from 2004 to 2007. People reported in May that Jayden, 19, made a rare public appearance at a Los Angeles fashion event, while Sean Preston is now 20.
The new post came after Spears has shared occasional public references to her sons and family life on social media. The deleted caption did not name Federline, Sam Asghari or any current partner.
She Has Spoken About Another Child Before
Spears has publicly discussed expanding her family in the past. In 2022, she announced that she was expecting a child with Sam Asghari, then later shared that they had lost the pregnancy early.
“It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy,” Spears and Asghari said in a joint Instagram statement at the time, according to ABC News.
Spears and Asghari married in 2022 and later divorced.
