Brooklyn Beckham reportedly did not ignore Harper Beckham at the door after David Beckham’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony. He was not home.
The 14-year-old stopped by Brooklyn’s Los Angeles home on Friday, June 12, after attending their father’s Walk of Fame ceremony with Victoria Beckham, Romeo Beckham, and Cruz Beckham. Page Six reported that Harper’s visit was unannounced and that Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz Beckham were in New York City at the time.
Harper’s visit still happened during a public family rift, but the reported door moment was not a face-to-face rejection.
Brooklyn and Nicola were also absent from David’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, where the former soccer star received his star with most of his immediate family beside him.

Page Six reported that Harper arrived at Brooklyn’s Beverly Hills property around 2 p.m. after the ceremony and left shortly afterward. A source told the outlet that neither Brooklyn nor Nicola was there when she stopped by.
HELLO! also reported that the visit ended quickly because Brooklyn and Nicola were not at the home, rather than because Brooklyn refused to see his sister.
A representative for Brooklyn and Nicola told Page Six that the visit appeared to have been staged for attention because paparazzi were already waiting outside. That claim has not been confirmed by Harper, David, Victoria, or their representatives.
Brooklyn Missed David Beckham’s Big Hollywood Moment
David received the 2,849th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on June 12. People reported that Victoria, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper attended the ceremony, while Brooklyn was not there.
David thanked his family during his speech and called his children “the reason that I get out of the bed in the morning.” He said he hoped they would one day bring his grandchildren to the star and tell them about “a boy who dreamed big.”
Entertainment Weekly reported that Tom Cruise spoke at the ceremony and praised Beckham’s hard work, discipline, family life, and global impact.
The Family Rift Has Been Public for Months
Brooklyn’s absence from the ceremony drew attention because his tension with David and Victoria has already played out publicly. In January, Brooklyn posted a lengthy Instagram Stories statement accusing his parents of trying to control the narrative around his marriage to Nicola.
ABC News reported at the time that Brooklyn said he did not want to reconcile with his family and described himself as “standing up” for himself.
David has kept his own public comments limited. People reported that when Variety asked him about Brooklyn before the Walk of Fame ceremony, he called it a “private matter.”
The Wedding Tension Still Follows the Family
The Beckham rift has often been tied back to Brooklyn and Nicola’s 2022 wedding. People has reported competing accounts about the planning of Nicola’s wedding dress, including claims that Victoria had initially planned to design it before the arrangement changed.
The family story continued through other public absences. Brooklyn and Nicola also missed David’s 50th birthday celebration in 2025, which drew another round of reports about the distance between the couple and the rest of the Beckhams.
