Brooklyn Beckham had a blunt response for an Instagram commenter who brought his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, into the discussion under one of his cooking videos.
Brooklyn, 27, posted a Reel on August 25th showing himself making cottage pie. The comments initially focused on his cooking, but one user shifted the conversation to Nicola’s appearance and told him to “feed her,” according to Just Jared.
Brooklyn responded by telling the commenter not to talk about his wife and criticizing the decision to comment on a woman’s body. He also called Nicola “absolutely beautiful” before describing the remark as “disgraceful.”
The exchange comes after Nicola’s appearance had already attracted public comments earlier this year, around the same period that details emerged about the physical preparation she underwent for her role as a ballerina in the upcoming film Prima.
‘Don’t Ever Talk About My Wife’
Brooklyn did not leave much room for interpretation when he answered the comment. “Don’t ever talk about my wife. She’s absolutely beautiful and you should never comment on a woman’s body. It’s disgraceful,” he wrote, according to Us Weekly.
His response was noticeably sharper than his replies to people critiquing the cottage pie itself. Brooklyn had been engaging with comments about his cooking and acknowledged that he was not a professional chef, but the discussion changed once Nicola’s body became the subject.

The August 25th Instagram video showed Brooklyn preparing the British dish, including the meat filling and mashed-potato topping. Some viewers questioned parts of his technique or offered their own suggestions before one commenter moved away from the recipe entirely and focused on Nicola.
The commenter asked whether Brooklyn responded to people who were concerned about how his wife looked, described her as “sickly” and told him to feed her. Brooklyn’s reply followed directly beneath that criticism.
Nicola’s Appearance Had Already Drawn Comments During Her ‘Prima’ Preparation
Nicola had faced similar scrutiny earlier in 2026. In January, a source told PEOPLE that she had undergone a physical transformation and an intense workout regimen while preparing to play a ballerina named Margo in Prima.
The report linked the change to her work on the film rather than establishing any health issue. PEOPLE also noted that the movie’s producers did not respond to its request for comment about the source’s claims.
Prima follows Margo, a ballerina raised by her strict grandmother. Faye Dunaway, Jack Huston, Mira Sorvino and Betty Gabriel are also part of the cast, and the project is based on a story and character created by Nicola.

Brooklyn’s latest response fits with several public statements he has made about Nicola. In May 2025, amid reports of tension involving his family, he posted a video with his wife and wrote that she was his “whole world,” adding that he would always choose her.
Brooklyn and Nicola began dating in 2019 and announced their engagement the following year. They married in Palm Beach, Florida, in April 2022 and renewed their vows in August 2025.
