Dua Lipa kept her wedding to Callum Turner small, but she did not wait long to show fans the version of the day she wanted them to see.
The 30-year-old pop star shared photos from her London ceremony on Instagram on Tuesday, June 2, two days after marrying Turner at Old Marylebone Town Hall. People reported that the couple tied the knot on Sunday, May 31, in an intimate ceremony with a small group of loved ones.
Lipa captioned the carousel simply, “31.05.2026 🤍.” After the first reports and paparazzi photos, the post gave fans the wedding images she chose to share herself.

The Photos Showed the Ceremony Up Close
The wedding photos were not built around a huge celebrity guest list or a dramatic ballroom setting.
People reported that one black-and-white image showed Lipa kissing Turner while sitting on his lap, with their faces partly hidden by her wide-brimmed hat. Other photos showed the newlyweds holding hands, leaving the venue under confetti, and walking down the steps together.
The images matched the tone of the ceremony itself: small, stylish, and centered on the couple rather than a large public spectacle.
Lipa’s Schiaparelli Suit Became the Fashion Story
Lipa wore a custom Schiaparelli couture bridal ensemble instead of a traditional gown.
Her look included an ivory jacket with gold bijoux buttons, a matching asymmetric skirt, white gloves, pointed heels, and a wide-brimmed hat. Turner wore a navy suit.
Vogue noted that Lipa’s wedding look echoed Bianca Jagger’s famous 1971 bridal suit, giving the civil ceremony a fashion reference that felt more distinctive than a standard dress reveal.
The bridal suit also kept the wedding in line with Lipa’s public style: polished, sharp, and not especially interested in looking traditional just because the occasion was traditional.
The London Wedding Was Intimate by Design
The ceremony was not presented as a giant celebrity production.
People reported that Lipa and Turner were joined by a small circle of loved ones at Old Marylebone Town Hall. A source close to Lipa told the outlet that the ceremony was exactly what the couple wanted and described it as intimate and meaningful.
Elle framed the Instagram post as Lipa confirming the news herself after photos of the courthouse wedding had already surfaced. That made the carousel less of a surprise reveal and more of her own first public look at the day.
Old Marylebone Town Hall has a long celebrity-wedding history, but the setting still gave Lipa and Turner a civil ceremony rather than a full-scale spectacle.
A Bigger Celebration Is Reportedly Coming
The London ceremony may not be the couple’s only wedding event.
People reported that Lipa and Turner are expected to host a second, larger celebration in Sicily this weekend. The Standard also reported that the pair are planning a second wedding event in Italy.
That gives the wedding story two different parts. The London ceremony was the legal and private moment. The reported Sicily celebration appears to be the larger family-and-friends event still ahead.
The distinction matters because Lipa has shared the London photos, but she and Turner have not publicly laid out every detail of the reported Italy celebration.
The Wedding Follows a 2025 Engagement
Lipa and Turner were first publicly linked in early 2024 after they were seen around the Masters of the Air premiere period.
People reported that the couple made their relationship Instagram official in July 2024. Lipa later confirmed their engagement in a British Vogue interview published in June 2025.
In that interview, Vogue reported that Lipa said Turner had her ring custom-made with help from her sister and close friends. She said the decision to build a future together felt special, while also explaining that wedding planning was not something she had always imagined for herself.
One year later, the first official wedding photos showed a smaller first step than many fans might have expected: a London town hall, a Schiaparelli suit, a navy-suited groom, confetti outside the doors, and a caption made only of the date.
