Gisele Bündchen was seen using crutches in Miami Beach on Friday, October 16, with a large medical boot covering her right foot.
The 46-year-old supermodel appeared to keep her weight off that foot, holding her right leg slightly ahead of her as she moved toward a waiting car.
TMZ, which published the images on October 17, said it had contacted her representative but had not determined what happened. The reporting offered no confirmed diagnosis or recovery timeline.
The sighting comes weeks after a magazine profile detailed Bündchen’s exercise routine and changing priorities, including how she balances modeling opportunities with raising three children.

In the Backgrid photographs published by Page Six, Bündchen wore a black tank top, cutoff denim shorts and sunglasses. Her left foot was in a flat, strapped sandal, while the black orthopedic boot extended around her other foot and lower leg.
She Recently Described a Routine of Weights, Pilates and Yoga
In a profile published September 10, i-D editor-in-chief Steff Yotka visited Bündchen at her Miami home. Their conversation took place earlier in the summer, before the model was photographed wearing the boot.
Bündchen said she lifts weights three times a week, practices Pilates once or twice weekly and does yoga two or three times a week. Her outdoor activities include surfing, paddleboarding and playing volleyball with her daughter.
“I see it as something I get to do,” she said of exercising every day.
Weight training was a recent addition to her schedule, and she was particularly pleased with a new achievement: she could do pull-ups for the first time in her life. She showed Yotka her bicep while sharing the news.
Motherhood Has Changed How Bündchen Chooses Her Work
Bündchen welcomed a baby boy with jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente in February 2025. He is her third child, joining Benjamin and Vivian, whom she shares with former husband Tom Brady.
She and Valente married in December 2025, according to PEOPLE.
During the i-D interview, she said she turns down 99 percent of the jobs she is offered. When considering work, she weighs it against missing her daughter’s volleyball games, trips to the park with her youngest child or time watching her older son DJ.
She also shared videos of her children with Yotka, including one showing Benjamin playing music while his little brother danced beside him. Another captured a dance class with Vivian.
Earlier in her career, Bündchen recalled, she worked as many as 360 days a year and struggled to say no to major opportunities.
The Sighting Comes Ahead of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show
The 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is scheduled for Sunday, October 18, in Los Angeles.
The Brazilian model walked in the brand’s annual shows from 1999 through 2006, becoming one of its best-known Angels alongside fellow models including Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio.
The confirmed models featured on Victoria’s Secret’s website include Gigi Hadid, Alex Consani and Paloma Elsesser.
The show is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. Pacific time, following the brand’s Pink Carpet broadcast at 4 p.m. Musical performers include Megan Thee Stallion, Tate McRae, KATSEYE and Megan Moroney.
