Jane Seymour is not trying to make 75 look like 30.

The Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman star spoke about aging naturally while attending the 2026 Songwriters Hall of Fame Gala, telling Page Six that her current approach is simple: “no lasers” and “no fillers.”

Seymour said she is not trying to erase her age, though she joked that looking 60 “would be nice.” Her answer was personal rather than preachy; she tied it to the face she uses for work and the kinds of roles she still wants to play.

At 75, Seymour is still filming, painting and celebrating a new engagement. She told the outlet that she is “the happiest” she has ever been, with a fifth season of Harry Wild, a new movie in Australia and a recent watercolor exhibit in New Jersey all part of the same busy stretch.

Seymour Says Her Face Still Has to Move

Seymour said she has been playing more older women and that the work she cares about now is less about glamour than “serious emotion.” For those scenes, she told Page Six, she needs “every muscle to work.”

She made a similar point in a 2024 interview with People, saying that emotional acting requires movement in her face. Seymour said she has “nothing against” other people choosing cosmetic procedures, but added that they would not help her craft unless she were playing a character who had Botox.

In another People interview, Seymour said that when a role calls for her to look different, she would rather use wigs, bangs or styling than make a permanent change to her face. She also said she worries that changing one feature can lead to changing another until a person no longer looks like herself.

She Still Takes Skincare Seriously

Seymour has not described natural aging as ignoring skincare. In February, she told People that she believes in exfoliating, sunscreen, hydration, staying out of the sun and eating well, with vegetables and fruit as part of the routine. She also said she uses retinol at night and has partnered with Crépe Erase by The Body Firm.

Seymour is still interested in skincare, wellness and how she looks on camera; she has simply drawn her own line at procedures that could change how her face moves.

Her Career and Personal Life Are Both Busy

Seymour told Page Six that she is still working on projects she cares about, including Season 5 of Harry Wild and a movie she expects to shoot in Australia later this year. She also recently debuted a one-woman watercolor exhibit, Vibrant Visions and Healing Hearts, at Ocean Galleries in Stone Harbor, New Jersey.

She is also newly engaged to singer-songwriter John Zambetti after three years of dating. Page Six reported that Zambetti is still writing music and that Seymour said she has become his muse.

Seymour has been married four times before, to Michael Attenborough, Geoffrey Planer, David Flynn and James Keach. She and Zambetti first made their relationship public on Instagram in October 2023.
