Jelly Roll’s daughter, Bailee Ann DeFord, says cheating did not end her father’s marriage to Bunnie Xo and she is warning people that they do not know the full story.
The 18-year-old addressed the divorce during a July 19 TikTok livestream, telling viewers, “Nobody cheated. Period.” She also pushed back against the speculation filling her comments, direct messages and livestream.
Bailee did not reveal what she believes caused the breakup. Instead, she told viewers to “wait ’til y’all find out” and predicted that “the internet in totality is about to f***ing crumble” if she eventually speaks publicly about what happened.
Her comments, reported by Page Six, add another denial to those already issued by Jelly Roll and Bunnie.

Bailee said the public’s knowledge of the situation was incomplete and became frustrated as commenters continued pressing her for details. She had already asked people to stay out of the family’s private life after news of the divorce became public in June.
In a TikTok post at the time, Bailee wrote, “Worry bout your house, not mine,” and thanked those who had shown her kindness while criticizing the intense public interest in the breakup. Bailee said then that she was not ready to discuss the divorce “yet.”

Jelly Roll, whose legal name is Jason DeFord, addressed the speculation during a June 18 concert in Saratoga Springs, New York. In the clip later published on his Instagram account, he called Bunnie his best friend and told the audience, “Nobody cheated on nobody.”
Bunnie also denied that either of them had been unfaithful during the period leading to the divorce. Speaking on her Dumb Blonde podcast, she described the split as the end of the role they had served in each other’s lives rather than the result of a new affair.
She said the two remain close despite ending their marriage. Bunnie also revealed that they still intend to have a child together through their previously announced fertility plans and expect to co-parent after the divorce.
The Divorce Was Finalized After Nearly 10 Years of Marriage
Jelly Roll filed for divorce in Williamson County, Tennessee, on May 18. The filing listed May 9 as the couple’s separation date and cited irreconcilable differences.
The divorce was finalized earlier in July through a settlement that kept several financial details confidential. Jelly Roll and Bunnie had been married for nearly 10 years and renewed their vows in 2023.
