Kaley Cuoco has welcomed her second daughter with fiancé Tom Pelphrey, introducing the newest member of their family in an Instagram announcement.
The actress, 40, shared the news on Wednesday, October 14, alongside hospital photographs of herself, Pelphrey, 44, and their newborn.
“Family officially complete,” Cuoco wrote, according to PEOPLE.

Philomena Carmine Bobby Pelphrey was born on Monday, October 12. Cuoco used the nickname Philo in her caption and expressed gratitude for the ups and downs that had brought the family to that moment.
She also thanked Pelphrey for the life they have built since meeting in 2022, affectionately calling him a “girl daddy.”
In his own announcement, Pelphrey welcomed his “youngest queen” and praised Cuoco for continuing to show up as a mother and partner even when she was not feeling her best. He called her a champion, as Us Weekly reported.
Her Middle Names Honor Both Sides of the Family
An unnamed source told PEOPLE on October 15 that Carmine honors Cuoco’s father, Gary Carmine Cuoco. Their older daughter, whose full name is Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey, shares that middle name.
Bobby recognizes Pelphrey’s side of the family, the source said, without identifying the relative. The insider also attributed the choice of Philomena to the couple’s preference for classic, vintage names. The source said everyone was healthy and that Matilda was excited to become an older sister.
The Couple Rearranged Their Home Ahead of the Birth
Cuoco announced her pregnancy on June 10, with Matilda joining her parents around a cake whose pink filling revealed they were expecting another girl.
She later celebrated at a fiesta-themed baby shower with friends including Lacey Chabert, Kimberly J. Brown, Amy Davidson and Ashley Jones.
In a September interview with E! News, Pelphrey said they were changing rooms and moving things around at home. Some tasks felt unfamiliar, while others seemed less daunting with experience. The couple also had a possible name in mind. “We always leave open the possibility that she’ll sort of declare herself,” he said.
Cuoco Had Discussed Another Baby Before a Wedding
Cuoco and Pelphrey became engaged in August 2024. In an interview the following month, she told PEOPLE they had not begun organizing the ceremony and were open to having another child first. “We’re gonna go way out of order. That’s our plan,” she said.
Earlier this year, Pelphrey told Us Weekly that he struggled to turn down Matilda’s requests and relied on Cuoco to set boundaries. He described fatherhood as changing his priorities.
Pelphrey Addressed Both Daughters During His Emmy Speech
Pelphrey won his first Primetime Emmy on September 14 for playing Robbie Prendergrast in HBO’s Task, taking Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.
During his acceptance speech, he called Cuoco his favorite actor in the room and sent his love to Matilda and their unborn daughter. Backstage, he told Extra‘s Terri Seymour that he could barely remember his remarks, although he had prepared a mental checklist of people to thank.
Pelphrey said he planned to take time off as a stay-at-home father, waiting to return to work “until something calls that makes me absolutely have to leave my house.”
