Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau’s romance is still drawing headlines weeks after they made their first major red carpet appearance together.
PEOPLE reported that Perry and the former Canadian prime minister posed together at the Tribeca Festival premiere of Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour – Live from Paris on June 8.
The appearance marked their red carpet debut as a couple after nearly a year of public interest in the relationship.

Perry wore a white halter-neck gown with rose-like details, while Trudeau chose a black suit and white shirt for the New York event. The two posed together as Trudeau supported Perry at the premiere of her concert film.
PEOPLE reported that Trudeau beamed as Perry greeted fans and reporters on the carpet.
Perry spoke openly about the relationship during a discussion after the premiere. PEOPLE reported that Perry said she felt more grounded and “very in love.” She also said the Paris concert shown in the film happened after she met “the love of my life,” adding that the relationship helped her feel anchored.
Perry shared an Instagram carousel that included a photo of her hugging Trudeau in Germany, with the image appearing as the 13th slide of the carousel.

The Romance First Drew Attention in Montreal
Perry and Trudeau first sparked dating rumors in July 2025 after they were seen walking together with a small dog in Montreal and later dining at Le Violon.
PEOPLE reported that a restaurant representative said the pair seemed to have a “fantastic evening,” were kind to staff, met chef Danny Smiles and visited the kitchen after dinner.
PEOPLE had confirmed one month earlier that Perry and Orlando Bloom had ended their engagement after nine years together. Since then, Perry and Trudeau have been seen at public events and date-night settings, including a Montecito Tastemaker event earlier this year.
