Kim Kardashian is giving followers one of her clearest looks yet at life with Lewis Hamilton, sharing new couple and family photos from a Hawaii getaway filled with beach time, surfing and familiar Kardashian faces.
The 45-year-old reality star opened her Aug. 17 Instagram carousel with a photograph of herself and Hamilton walking together along the beach, each with an arm around the other. She kept the caption brief: “Somewhere over the rainbow 🌈.”
Kardashian’s children Chicago, Saint and Psalm appeared in the post, while her sister Khloé Kardashian and Khloé’s children, True and Tatum, also joined the trip. Other images showed Kardashian and Hamilton posing together and the family spending time in and around the water.
The photos continue a noticeably more public summer for Kardashian and Hamilton. The Formula 1 driver has already shared his own glimpses of their relationship and has increasingly joined vacations and other outings involving Kardashian’s children and extended family.

The opening image shows Kardashian and Hamilton walking away from the camera along the shoreline, with Hamilton wearing black swim trunks and Kardashian in a shimmering lime-green beach cover-up.
Another photograph shows the couple taking a mirror selfie in coordinating pink, gray and white looks. PEOPLE described the carousel as an intimate glimpse at the couple’s tropical family vacation.
The post moves between couple photographs and family moments. Kardashian is shown trying surfing alongside daughter Chicago, 8, and son Saint, 10, while Psalm, 7, appears spending time on the sand. Khloé also posed for a selfie with Kardashian and Hamilton and brought her children, True, 8, and Tatum, 4, along for the getaway.
Hamilton Has Been Joining Kardashian’s Family Trips for Months
The Hawaii getaway follows another family vacation in July that gave followers an earlier look at Hamilton spending time with Kardashian and her children.
Hamilton shared photographs from that trip showing the group hiking, swimming, riding jet skis and watching movies together. His niece Willow and nephew Kaiden were also part of the vacation.
In one image, Hamilton posed with Kardashian, Chicago and Psalm. “hold your people close, 🫂” Hamilton captioned the July 16 carousel. The post arrived hours after Kris Jenner announced that her mother, Mary Jo “MJ” Shannon, had died at 91.
A source told PEOPLE in June that Kardashian is careful about whom she brings into her children’s lives and said Hamilton spending time with them demonstrated “how much she trusts him.” He had previously joined Kardashian and her three younger children during a trip to Tokyo in March.
Their Relationship Became Instagram Official in April
Kardashian and Hamilton had known each other for more than a decade before their friendship turned romantic. They were first romantically linked in February after what PEOPLE described as a “romantic meetup” in Paris. Their relationship became considerably less ambiguous on April 6 when Hamilton posted video of Kardashian riding beside him during a high-speed drive in his Ferrari F40 in Tokyo.
The post marked the couple’s Instagram debut and was followed by more public outings together, including Coachella and a PDA-filled surfing date in Malibu. Kardashian then traveled to Monaco in June to support Hamilton at the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix. She attended with Khloé and was photographed around the Ferrari team as Hamilton competed.
After the race, Hamilton made a rare public comment about Kardashian’s presence. “It’s amazing to have good people around you and good people supporting you,” he said, adding of Kardashian, “she does that for me every day.”

Hamilton offered another glimpse at the relationship on Aug. 7 with a carousel captioned, “Resting, restoring, recharging 🔋🔋🔋.” One image showed the couple together in activewear, while another featured Kardashian with a dog. A separate photograph showed Hamilton visiting the set of Kardashian’s Hulu legal drama All’s Fair, where he appeared alongside Kardashian and her costar Glenn Close.
