Lisa Rinna’s Halloween transformation into Kylie Jenner earned a reaction from Jenner herself. After the actress shared photographs of her costume on Instagram, the beauty mogul left a four-word comment: “Thought this was me.”
The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 63, unveiled the look during the October 30th Halloween special of Live with Kelly and Mark.
Her inspiration was Jenner’s appearance alongside Timothée Chalamet at the December 2025 Los Angeles premiere of Marty Supreme. The pair’s coordinated red-carpet outfits gave Rinna and the show’s longtime executive producer, Michael Gelman, a matching costume to recreate.
Rinna also had a job to do during the broadcast. She joined Jerry O’Connell as a celebrity judge for the audience costume competition, part of the show’s annual Halloween celebration.

Rinna captioned her October 30th Instagram post “King Lisa,” adding kiss and crown emojis in a nod to the 29-year-old Jenner’s longtime King Kylie nickname.
The transformation involved a long dark wig, smoky eye makeup and a fitted dress with dramatic cutouts. Orange heels and a chunky silver cross necklace completed the outfit, replacing Rinna’s familiar short hairstyle and everyday look with the details of Jenner’s red-carpet appearance.
Her daughters quickly weighed in. Amelia Gray said she was freaking out, while Delilah Belle wrote, “Wait this is good.” Fellow reality star Dorinda Medley said she had briefly mistaken Rinna for Jenner, and actress Busy Philipps also praised the costume.
Rinna credited her glam team in a separate video shared by the show. According to E! News, she joked about being able to afford the best people before describing their work as “very natural and understated.”

Gelman escorted Rinna onto the set wearing an orange suit as Chalamet.
The original outfits were coordinated Chrome Hearts designs. Jenner wore a gown with prominent cutouts, while Chalamet chose an orange leather suit, matching shirt and boots. He also carried a black leather case for a ping-pong paddle, a reference to his film, as Us Weekly noted.
Kelly Ripa complimented Rinna’s transformation and asked whether it was the sort of outfit she typically wore for Halloween.
“You know, I aged way down for this,” she joked.
Rinna Recalls Handing Out Power Bars Instead of Halloween Candy
The conversation also turned to how Rinna, her husband Harry Hamlin and their daughters usually celebrate. Pumpkin carving is a family tradition, but their home in the hills rarely attracts trick-or-treaters.
One visit in the late 1990s caught them unprepared. Rinna remembered children arriving at the house when she had no candy available, leaving her to improvise with what she could find. The children went home with Power Bars instead.
Ripa also pointed out that Rinna herself had become a Halloween costume inspiration. The actress said she enjoys seeing fans imitate her, particularly those recreating her appearance in a cage on The Traitors, according to Entertainment Weekly.
