Leaked footage from inside Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Madison Square Garden wedding shows how far the couple went to hide the arena underneath a garden-style ceremony space.
Heavy, citing footage obtained by the Daily Mail, said the July 3 wedding space was rebuilt with towering trees, emerald drapery, soaring archways and nude-colored coverings over the arena’s usual seats.
The clip surfaced after days of fake wedding images spread across social media. Page Six reported that director Joseph Kahn, a longtime Swift collaborator and wedding guest, warned fans that viral images claiming to show the ceremony were fake.
Swift and Kelce have not released official wedding photos or video. The leaked footage remains an unofficial look inside the private ceremony, which was protected by strict guest rules, phone restrictions and heavy security around Madison Square Garden.

The Daily Mail footage, summarized by Heavy, showed Madison Square Garden redesigned around a ceremony area that looked more like an indoor garden than an arena floor. The setup included trees, flowers, green drapery and a chapel-like altar structure with gray archways.
The clip also showed guests moving from the ceremony area through hidden doors as Candi Staton’s “Young Hearts Run Free” played. A separate hallway featured pink walls, peach drapery, matching carpet and large gold-framed photos of Swift and Kelce, including images connected to their August 2025 backyard proposal.
A large “T and T” emblem also appeared in the décor. Outside the venue, screens later flashed “JUST&T MARRIED!” after the ceremony.
The Ceremony Replaced the Arena Floor
Heavy said nude-colored coverings hid the arena’s usual blue seats, while the main floor was turned into the couple’s ceremony space. The lower level reportedly carried a separate fairground theme with mechanical games and thousands of pink and peach roses.
The wedding party stayed small despite the scale of the event. The Associated Press reported that Adam Sandler officiated, Austin Swift served as Swift’s man of honor and Jason Kelce served as Kelce’s best man.
Swift wore custom Christian Dior Haute Couture designed by Jonathan Anderson, while Kelce wore a white Dior tuxedo. The couple read personal vows from gold books before the reception began, according to accounts from guests and outlets covering the ceremony.
Wedding Guests Were Kept in the Dark Until the Last Minute
The leaked footage followed reports about how carefully Swift and Kelce protected the venue reveal. ELLE reported that some guests were only told “East Coast” at first, then “Manhattan,” with the actual venue withheld until the day of the ceremony.
At 4 a.m. on July 3, guests received a QR code with mandatory directions to Madison Square Garden. One guest told Entertainment Tonight, according to ELLE, that cars would not be allowed in if they deviated from the assigned route.
Phones and smartwatches were confiscated after arrival. Entertainment Weekly also reported that guests were asked not to bring phones into MSG, with a mandatory phone check for anyone who arrived with one.
Fake Wedding Images Had Already Spread Online

The first real interior footage arrived after AI-generated wedding images had already caused confusion among fans. Page Six reported that Kahn posted on X that every wedding photo he had seen online was fake.
The fake images included supposed ceremony and guest photos that appeared to show Swift with people such as Sabrina Carpenter. Kahn said AI would “break” if users tried to create the actual wedding because the real setup was too specific.
Page Six also reported that multiple workers were escorted out of MSG after allegedly taking photos during the wedding setup, adding another layer to the secrecy around the event.
Guests Described a Garden Inside the Garden
Former ABC anchor George Stephanopoulos described the venue as “a garden inside The Garden,” according to Reuters. AMC Entertainment CEO Adam Aron also praised the transformation in a social media post that was later deleted, saying the space looked removed from its usual basketball and hockey setting.
Heavy said roughly 1,000 guests attended the wedding, while Entertainment Weekly cited additional reports placing the crowd between 500 and 999 people. The guest list included celebrities, athletes, close friends and family members.
No official wedding photos have been released by Swift or Kelce. Heavy also cited speculation that the wedding was professionally filmed, though the couple has not announced any documentary, special or official video rollout.
