Madison Beer made her first red-carpet appearance since becoming engaged to Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert, giving photographers a clear look at her new ring.

The 27-year-old singer attended Variety’s Power of Young Hollywood event in Los Angeles on August 5th, eight days after she and Herbert announced their engagement.

Beer posed with her left hand raised near her face, prominently displaying the diamond while wearing a mint green halter minidress.

According to Just Jared, Beer was also among the presenters at the event, taking the stage to give her friend Tate McRae the Triple Threat Award.

Beer Gave the Ring Its Red-Carpet Debut

Beer made the engagement ring a visible part of her poses, repeatedly holding her left hand where photographers could capture the large center stone. Her mint green dress contrasted with the white outfit she wore in photographs from Herbert’s proposal.

Herbert did not join Beer on the red carpet. The appearance was her first public event since the couple announced their engagement on July 28th.

Experts Estimate the Ring Could Be Worth Up to $1 Million

Jewelry experts consulted by PEOPLE believe Beer’s ring features an elongated cushion-cut diamond on a slim platinum or white-gold band. The precise specifications have not been confirmed.

One expert estimated that the center stone could weigh approximately five or six carats, while another assessment suggested it could be as large as 10 carats. Estimated values have ranged from approximately $500,000 to $640,000, with some experts placing a potential price above $1 million depending on the diamond’s size and quality.

Beer and Herbert announced their engagement through a joint Instagram post on July 28th. “meet my fiancé,” Beer captioned the photographs. They were first publicly linked in August 2025. They later appeared together at sporting events, and Beer attended Chargers games during Herbert’s season. Their relationship also crossed into Beer’s music career when Herbert appeared in the video for her song “Lovergirl” earlier this year.

Herbert Says Beer Has ‘Changed My Life’

Herbert spoke publicly about the engagement during a recent interview with SiriusXM NFL Radio at Chargers training camp. “It’s been incredible,” Herbert said of having Beer in his life. “She’s changed my life, and it’s something I never thought was possible.”

The 28-year-old quarterback said he was excited about building a future with her. “It’s so awesome to find your person and to be able to spend your life with them,” he said. “I’m excited and just can’t wait. She’s the best.”

Herbert also described their relationship as what he had “always dreamed of.” “To have someone that I can share everything with and live with and trust completely, there’s no better feeling,” he said. Beer and Herbert have not announced a wedding date or publicly disclosed their plans for the ceremony.
