Karol G has joined Bruno Mars for “Still,” an emotional duet that finds the Colombian superstar singing entirely in English.
The collaboration appears on Karol G’s new album, No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto, released on August 7th. “Still” is the sixth track on the 14-song project.
According to Just Jared, Karol performs her entire part in English, placing her alongside Mars in a polished pop and R&B ballad.
Karol said she had remained open to recording in other languages when the right song arrived naturally.
‘Still’ Imagines Love That Survives an Ending
“Still” centers on the idea of continuing to love someone even if a relationship ends. The song uses memories and personal keepsakes as reminders of a connection that would remain emotionally significant after a breakup. Rather than promising a reconciliation, the two singers imagine affection surviving alongside heartbreak.
Karol G and Mars approach the song as a duet rather than splitting it into an obvious lead performance and guest verse. Their voices alternate throughout the track before coming together as the song builds. The official “Still” visualizer was released alongside the album on August 7th.

Karol told Rolling Stone that she has been open to making music in languages other than Spanish, provided the opportunity does not feel forced. She explained that “Still” arrived organically rather than beginning with a deliberate plan to record an English-language collaboration.
“This song found me,” she said. Karol also expressed her excitement about working with Mars, describing the collaboration as something she could hardly believe had become part of her catalog. Karol has built her international career primarily through Spanish-language music.

Mars brings the romantic pop and R&B delivery that has defined many of his ballads, while Karol adjusts to the English-language setting without disappearing into his established sound.
“Still” arrives during an especially active period for Mars, following the release of his 2026 solo album, The Romantic. For Karol, the collaboration is one of several major pairings across No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto.
The album also includes Drake on “Ahí,” Spanish artists Judeline and Rusowsky on “BbY WOW” and Cigarettes After Sex frontman Greg Gonzalez on “Después de ti.”
