Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi have reportedly expanded their family again, just over a year after becoming parents for the first time.
The Stranger Things star, 22, and Bongiovi, 24, recently welcomed a second child through adoption, an unnamed source told PEOPLE on September 17. The couple has not publicly announced the new arrival or shared details about the child.
Brown may have offered an early glimpse of their growing family in a September 7 Instagram post from the Dolomites. The vacation footage showed Brown carrying their daughter while Bongiovi appeared beside her with another child in a baby carrier. No explanation was given at the time.
Brown and Bongiovi first became parents in the summer of 2025, when they adopted a daughter. Since then, Brown has spoken openly about adoption while maintaining strict boundaries around identifying details about their child.

Brown captioned her September vacation post “Different in the Dolomites,” sharing footage and photographs from a family trip in Italy. The carousel included mountain scenery, animals and outdoor moments with Bongiovi and their daughter.
One clip drew renewed attention after PEOPLE reported the second adoption. Brown could be seen holding their first child while Bongiovi wore a baby carrier containing another child. The couple did not identify the second child or announce another addition to the family when the post was shared.
Brown and Bongiovi have consistently limited what they reveal about their children. They have not publicly disclosed their first daughter’s name and generally avoid showing her face in social media posts.
Brown Says Adoption Had Been Part of Her Plans Since Childhood
Brown discussed adoption at length during a June appearance on Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce. Asked whether she had always imagined adoption as part of motherhood, she said the idea went back to childhood.
Brown recalled that when she played with dolls at five or six years old, she imagined that all of them had been adopted rather than pretending that she had given birth to them. She also said adoption remained important to her even though she hopes to experience pregnancy one day.
“Adoption is love. Adoption is forever,” Brown told Kelce. She said she and Bongiovi spent significant time learning about the adoption process before becoming parents, including considering the experiences of adoptees and birth mothers.
Brown also described the waiting period as one of the most difficult parts of the process and cautioned prospective adoptive parents against comparing their timeline with another family’s experience.
They Announced Their First Adoption in August 2025

Brown and Bongiovi announced in August 2025 that they had welcomed a daughter through adoption earlier that summer. They said they were excited to begin parenthood together “in both peace and privacy.”
Brown later explained in a British Vogue interview that protecting their daughter’s privacy meant allowing her to decide for herself what, if anything, she eventually wanted to share publicly.
She declined to discuss the child’s personality and said she and Bongiovi did not plan to reveal her name while she was too young to make that choice. Brown also described Bongiovi as an “amazing dad” and said the two divide their parenting responsibilities.
