Nicole Kidman’s younger daughter is still rarely seen in public, but the gaps between appearances are getting shorter.
The 59-year-old actor brought 15-year-old Faith Margaret to the U.S. Open in New York on Sept. 11, with the mother and daughter arriving at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center hand in hand before watching the men’s semifinals.
Faith has generally maintained a lower public profile than her older sister Sunday Rose, who has already built a modeling résumé. That made the relaxed outing particularly noticeable as Faith walked beside her mother in a polka-dot maxi dress while Kidman traded her recent premiere gowns for jeans, sneakers and a pale blue shirt.
Faith has also joined Kidman at several public events over the past year, appeared with her in a beauty campaign and traveled with her to Australia earlier this month, although most of those appearances have remained tied to her mother’s work.

Kidman and Faith attended Day 13 of the tournament at Arthur Ashe Stadium on Friday. E! News reported that the pair entered the venue holding hands before settling in for the men’s semifinal action.
Vogue noted that they did not attempt a coordinated mother-daughter look, although their resemblance was difficult to miss when they appeared side by side.
The outing landed in the middle of a busy stretch for Kidman, who has been promoting Practical Magic 2 with Sandra Bullock. Faith had also accompanied her on a recent trip to Sydney, where the InStyle photographed the pair together at Sydney Airport on Sept. 6.
Faith Has Kept a Lower Profile Than Sunday Rose
The sisters have taken noticeably different routes into public view. Sunday, now 18, made her runway debut at Miu Miu’s Spring/Summer 2025 show in Paris in October 2024, opening the presentation at age 16.
ABC News reported that Sunday had wanted to model for some time before making her first runway appearance. She has since continued working in fashion and attending industry events.
Faith has not followed the same public path. Her appearances have so far been more closely connected to Kidman, including family events, fashion gatherings and the occasional campaign.
Both daughters joined their mother at the Chanel and Charles Finch pre-Oscar dinner in Beverly Hills in March, and both had previously attended Matthieu Blazy’s Chanel debut in Paris in October 2025.
Faith Already Appeared With Her Mom in a Beauty Campaign

One of Faith’s most visible appearances came without a traditional red carpet. In July 2025, she appeared with Kidman in the actor’s debut campaign as global ambassador for Japanese luxury beauty brand Clé de Peau Beauté.
The mostly black-and-white film, part of the brand’s “The Key to Radiance Is You” campaign, shows the mother and daughter embracing while Etta James’ “At Last” plays. Kidman told PEOPLE that filming with Faith at 14 felt less like an advertising assignment than something she wanted to preserve.
“This isn’t a job. This is actually a gift,” Kidman said of capturing her youngest daughter at that age. She also shared behind-the-scenes footage of the two dancing during the shoot.
Their First Red Carpet Together Was Only Two Years Ago
When Sunday and Faith joined Kidman at the AFI Life Achievement Award Gala in April 2024, Kidman told the audience it was the first time her daughters had ever accompanied her publicly on a red carpet.
“My daughters have never been anywhere publicly with me on a red carpet,” she said during her acceptance speech. “Tonight was their first night.” Kidman has continued to describe herself as protective when it comes to her daughters.
Kidman Says Her Teen Daughters Have Developed an ‘Armor’
Kidman has also spoken about how differently Sunday and Faith encounter public scrutiny than she did when she was young. During an Interview conversation with Ariana Grande published in November 2025, Kidman described growing up without social media and said her teenage daughters seem to have developed an “armor” against the constant judgment that now accompanies public life.
“The very, very young now have already gone, ‘We know exactly how to handle this,’” she said. “They don’t take a lot of things personally. They shrug it off.”
Sunday and Faith now primarily live with Kidman following her divorce from Keith Urban, which was finalized in Tennessee on Jan. 6. The former couple retained joint decision-making responsibilities under their parenting agreement, while the girls spend most of the year with Kidman.
