North West’s first co-headlining tour has been canceled after ticket sales reportedly failed to meet expectations.
The 13-year-old artist was scheduled to begin the 14-date Kimokawaii Tour with rapper Molly Santana at the House of Blues in Dallas on August 5.
Both performers confirmed that the planned run would no longer move forward but did not publicly explain why it had been canceled.
Multiple Ticketmaster listings were marked canceled, the tour’s official website disappeared and customers were told that refunds would be issued automatically through their original payment methods.
Poor Ticket Sales Reportedly Led to the Cancellation
The Daily Mail reported that weak advance ticket sales prompted organizers to cancel the Kimokawaii Tour shortly before its opening night. Neither North nor Santana has confirmed that explanation, and their representatives have not released a detailed statement identifying the reason for the decision.
The cancellation came less than two months after tickets went on general sale and only days before production was expected to move into the Dallas venue. Touring requires significant spending on venues, travel, accommodation, production, security, equipment and staff.
North West Said She Was ‘Really Excited’ to Tour
North addressed the cancellation through a since-expired Instagram Story after fans noticed that shows had disappeared from ticketing platforms. “I was really excited to go on tour w Molly Santana,” she wrote. “Sadly it isn’t happening anymore.”
North then teased another project, telling followers that she had “something special” planned and would see them soon. People reported that the Dallas opening show and the August 17 concert at Rebel in Toronto were marked canceled on Ticketmaster. The tour website had also been taken offline.
Molly Santana Apologized to Fans Who Made Plans
Santana issued a longer statement acknowledging that supporters had already purchased tickets, organized travel and changed their schedules to attend the concerts. “To everyone who bought tickets to the tour, I sincerely apologize,” the 21-year-old rapper wrote.
She said she appreciated the time and money fans had invested and emphasized that she would never take their support lightly. Santana promised to make the cancellation up to her audience before teasing her forthcoming project, Black Punk, and saying she would “be right back.”
The Tour Was Canceled Days Before Its Dallas Opening
The Kimokawaii Tour was scheduled to begin August 5 at the House of Blues in Dallas before visiting 13 additional North American cities. The itinerary included Houston, Atlanta, Silver Spring, Philadelphia, New York, Boston, Toronto, Royal Oak, Chicago, Boulder, Phoenix and San Francisco.
The final concert was planned for August 27 at The Novo in Los Angeles. The Fader reported when the tour was announced that an artist presale would begin June 17 before tickets went on general sale June 19. The Ticketmaster page for the Houston concert subsequently labeled the event canceled.
Customers were told that the organizer had pulled the show and that refunds would be returned automatically. The Houston Chronicle contacted representatives for both performers but did not receive an explanation for the cancellation.
The Tour Was a Major Step in North’s Music Career

The concert run would have been North’s first extended headlining engagement following the May 1 release of her six-track debut EP, N0rth4evr. She had spent the preceding months performing with established artists and building a catalog that included solo material and collaborations.
North previously appeared on “Talking / Once Again” with her father, Ye, and contributed to FKA Twigs’ “Childlike Things.” She also performed material from N0rth4evr, including “Piercing on My Hand,” during festival and arena appearances.
In June, North delivered her first solo music-festival set at Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash near Chicago. Billboard reported that the performance followed her earlier surprise appearance with Santana at Rolling Loud.
The Kimokawaii itinerary would have required North and Santana to complete 14 concerts in 23 days while traveling across the United States and Canada.

The joint tour followed North’s surprise appearance during Santana’s set at Rolling Loud Orlando in May. The pair performed an unreleased collaboration together, marking North’s music-festival debut and giving audiences an early look at the partnership that was expected to anchor the Kimokawaii shows.
Santana later appeared during North’s solo Summer Smash set, and the two performers announced the tour shortly afterward. Santana had also expanded her audience through her own releases and her appearance with Future on Drake’s 2026 track “Ran to Atlanta.”
