Olivia Rodrigo has sparked new dating speculation after being photographed several times with New York private equity professional Julian Croonenberghs.

The 23-year-old singer and Croonenberghs have not publicly confirmed a relationship. Images that circulated on July 20 appeared to show the pair at an airport while traveling from Iceland to New York.

The sighting followed several earlier reports that Rodrigo had spent time with the same man in Brooklyn.

Page Six contacted Rodrigo’s representative and Croonenberghs but did not receive confirmation of a romance.

The airport images showed Rodrigo and Croonenberghs walking through the terminal after the reported Iceland trip. Members of Rodrigo’s team were also said to be traveling with them, although neither Rodrigo nor Croonenberghs has explained the purpose of the visit.

Fans subsequently identified the man as Croonenberghs, connecting the photographs to earlier images and eyewitness reports from New York.  The speculation follows reports that Rodrigo and British actor Louis Partridge ended their relationship in late 2025 after approximately two years together.

The Rumors Started With Brooklyn Sightings

Celebrity gossip account Deuxmoi reported in June that Rodrigo had been seen having lunch with an unidentified man in Brooklyn’s Clinton Hill neighborhood. The sighting led fans following the story to refer to him as the “Clinton Hill man.”

Anonymous eyewitnesses later claimed Rodrigo and the same man appeared affectionate during another outing and were seen together at Nightmoves, a Brooklyn nightclub known for limiting phone use.

Croonenberghs Works in Private Equity

Croonenberghs is a member of the Mercury investment team at Hg, a private equity firm with an office in New York. His official company biography says he joined Hg in 2024 after working on Goldman Sachs’ Financial Institutions Investment Banking team.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics and computer science from Brown University. Croonenberghs also has an international field hockey background, USA Field Hockey’s 2019 annual report lists him on the U.S. men’s national team and notes that he earned his first senior international cap that year.
