Drew Brees wants WWE to turn Tom Brady and Logan Paul’s increasingly theatrical rivalry into an actual wrestling match.
TMZ Sports approached the former New Orleans Saints quarterback in New York City on July 21 and asked whether Brady and Paul should settle their public feud in the ring. “They should!” Brees replied. “They should schedule that.”
Brees did not propose a date, venue or match format, and WWE has not announced Brady for an event.

Brady encouraged the speculation during Fanatics Fest in New York, saying he believed he could manage at least one match despite retiring from professional football.
“I feel like I could get in there for at least one match,” Brady said, according to People. He added that he had been waiting for WWE president Nick Khan to develop a storyline that would get him “in the mix.”
The seven-time Super Bowl champion said retirement had given him an opportunity to demonstrate that he remained athletic outside football. Brady, 48, has never competed in an official WWE match, although former teammate Rob Gronkowski appeared at WrestleMania 33 and later won WWE’s 24/7 Championship.
Brady and Paul’s Public Feud Has Kept Escalating

During an onstage exchange at Fanatics Fest, Brady reached around NBA star Karl-Anthony Towns and appeared to slap Paul as Towns stepped between them. The pair continued trading insults online after the encounter.
Brady called Paul a “dork” and suggested he would try again, while Paul mocked the former quarterback’s reaction and referenced the triceps injury that had kept him from wrestling. Brady and Paul were then filmed exchanging middle-finger gestures from a suite during the July 19 World Cup final.
Mark Henry and Alexa Bliss Also Support the Match
WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry called Brady versus Paul a “match made in heaven” and argued that Brady’s football profile and experience performing before large audiences would translate naturally to WWE.
Henry also pointed to Gronkowski’s WrestleMania appearance as an example of how the company could use an NFL star. He predicted that matching Brady with Paul, an established WWE performer with a large following outside wrestling, would draw major attention.
Alexa Bliss told TMZ Sports that she would welcome Brady to WWE and wanted him to experience the physical demands wrestlers place on their bodies. She joked that Brady could leave wearing an arm brace like hers but said it would be “great” to bring him into WWE.
