Pinkchyu is not confirming that she and Drake are officially dating, but she did not exactly shut down the question when it was put to her directly.
TMZ approached the creator in Los Angeles on Sept. 22 and asked whether whatever had developed between her and Drake was now official. Pinkchyu turned toward the friends standing beside her as they began laughing. “They know, and they are telling me not to say anything,” she replied. She then added, “They told me not to say. I can’t…”
The exchange came more than a month after Pinkchyu won Drake’s “20-v-1” dating livestream and after several very public additions to that story. There was a private dinner at Toronto’s Casa Loma, followed by her appearance alongside the rapper in the “Princess” visual from his FOMO project.
None of that establishes that the two are boyfriend and girlfriend. Pinkchyu has previously spoken about continuing to see Drake, but neither has publicly announced a relationship or supplied a label for what is happening between them.

The question arrived while Pinkchyu was standing with several friends. Rather than immediately answering, she looked toward them, and their laughter became part of the exchange. She pointed in their direction before saying they knew the answer and were telling her not to reveal it.
That was as far as she went. Asked about working with Drake on “Princess,” Pinkchyu was much less guarded. “I actually felt like a princess,” she said during the TMZ interview.
Her response leaves plenty of room for speculation, particularly after everything the two have done publicly since August, but Pinkchyu never said “yes” when asked whether the relationship was official. Drake has not publicly confirmed a relationship either.
Drake Picked Pinkchyu After She Made Him Bark on His Dating Stream
The story began on Aug. 8 during Drake’s “20-v-1” speed-dating segment on Kick. Pinkchyu reached the final group after an exchange that quickly became the clip most associated with the stream.
Drake told her that if she looked him in the eyes and told him to do something, he would do it. Pinkchyu tested that promise immediately by asking him to bark. He obliged several times, and she answered, “Good boy.” Complex reported that Drake eventually chose her over the other finalists.
The prize conversation became almost as memorable. When Drake offered to buy her whatever she wanted, Pinkchyu asked for a house for her mother. He agreed.
Three days later, Pinkchyu spoke with TMZ and said Drake intended to follow through. According to her account, she needed to choose a property and he would handle the payment. She also addressed the obvious question about what had happened between them after the dating stream.
Pinkchyu said they had not hooked up. She did, however, say they had talked at the after-party and that “something is in the works.” At that point, there was still no public relationship announcement, just a dating-show win and the possibility of seeing each other again.
Drake Reportedly Rented Casa Loma for Their Next Date
The next development was considerably harder to mistake for a casual after-party conversation. On Aug. 20, TMZ reported that Drake had flown Pinkchyu to Toronto and rented out Casa Loma for a private dinner.
According to the outlet’s source, the nearly 200,000-square-foot landmark was otherwise closed except for a server, bartender and security. Drake and Pinkchyu ate sushi inside the 98-room castle. Complex subsequently covered the date while tracing it back to TMZ’s reporting.
The extravagant setting did not come with an announcement from either of them about what the evening meant. That has remained a consistent feature of the story. There have been public appearances and increasingly elaborate dates, but no statement defining their relationship.
Pinkchyu Returned for Drake’s ‘Princess’ Visual

By September, Pinkchyu was no longer just part of the story surrounding Drake’s dating stream. She appeared in the “Princess” sequence from his FOMO project, turning their running goth joke into part of the visual itself.
The sequence takes them through a mall and into Hot Topic, where Pinkchyu gives Drake a makeover. He emerges in black clothing, boots and a spiked choker before the pair walk through the mall holding hands. They later appear outdoors and at a Medieval Times performance.
Complex reported that the segment was set to “Princess,” while TMZ documented the Hot Topic makeover and the later Medieval Times outing when FOMO premiered.
