Rihanna and A$AP Rocky turned a Crop Over cruise in Barbados into an unusually public display of affection as the couple danced together in the middle of a packed celebration.
Footage from the boat showed Rihanna bending forward and dancing against Rocky as he stood directly behind her. Both laughed through the moment while other passengers watched and recorded them.
Rihanna later shared clips from the outing through her Instagram Stories. In one video, she noticed a nearby man watching the couple, zoomed in on his expression and added the caption, “My x in the studio.”
The Stories have since expired, but footage from the celebration was reposted by several entertainment and social-media accounts.

The cruise was hosted by Aura Experience, the Crop Over band connected to Rihanna’s brother Rorrey Fenty. Footage published by TMZ showed Rihanna dancing closely against Rocky as he held her from behind. At one point, she appeared to lose a shoe but continued dancing and laughing.
Harper’s Bazaar reported that Rihanna personally uploaded multiple videos from the boat ride before focusing her camera on the onlooker. She wore two printed Celine pieces for the outing, a loose, long-sleeved silk shirt and an orange silk-twill foulard styled as a miniskirt.

The Barbados footage was more intimate than most of what Rihanna and Rocky post publicly, but it was not the first time she turned a night with him into a performance. In June 2024, Rihanna shared a video of herself dancing and rapping along to GloRilla’s “TGIF” while Rocky watched with his hands on his hips.
Rihanna intensified the performance by throwing her jacket toward the camera and dropping toward the floor. Rocky eventually shook his head and walked away while joking, “I’m too old for this.”
The couple were friends and collaborators for years before beginning a romantic relationship in 2020. They are now parents to sons RZA and Riot and daughter Rocki Irish.
Rihanna Returned to Grand Kadooment With Aura
The cruise followed Rihanna’s appearance at Grand Kadooment Day on August 3rd, the parade that closes Barbados’ annual Crop Over festival. She joined the procession with Aura in a custom costume by Barbadian designer Lauren Austin.
The design included a jeweled teal base, gold tassels, multicolored stones and a large arrangement of feathers around her head and shoulders. Photos and videos from the parade showed Rihanna dancing with the band, interacting with spectators and spending time with her brother. The appearance marked her first time participating in Grand Kadooment since 2024.

Rihanna and Rocky also celebrated their younger son Riot’s third birthday in Barbados on August 1st. A video shared by Rihanna’s sister-in-law, Nadia King, showed a Spider-Man-themed party decorated with red, blue and black balloons, children’s tables, a photo area and a cake bar. Riot is the couple’s middle child. RZA turned 4 in May, while Rocki was born in September 2025.
