Riley Keough, the talented actress known for her role in Daisy Jones & The Six, finds herself at the center of a heated legal storm. Court documents recently surfaced with bold assertions about her personal life intersecting with that of John Travolta and his late wife, Kelly Preston.

These claims, part of an ongoing lawsuit, suggest deep connections between two iconic Hollywood families. Yet, the Presley clan has swiftly pushed back, emphasizing their unbreakable bond and commitment to honoring their legacy.

The Shocking Assertions from Court Filings

Legal papers filed by Priscilla Presley’s former business partners, Brigitte Kruse and Kevin Fialko, against her son, Navarone Garcia, paint a picture of intricate family negotiations following Lisa Marie Presley’s death in January 2023 at age 54. The amended complaint, obtained and reviewed, details how the Presley family allegedly navigated estate matters with Kruse and Fialko acting as mediators.

Key points from the documents include:

  • Michael Lockwood, Lisa Marie’s ex-husband and father to twins Harper and Finley, reportedly shared that Travolta and Preston had previously used Lisa Marie’s eggs in an attempt to conceive. However, the filing does not specify if this led to a child.
  • In 2010, following the tragic death of Travolta’s son Jett, the actor allegedly reached out again. Lockwood claimed Travolta sought to bolster his career amid personal scandals, opting not to use Lisa Marie’s eggs because of concerns about her past struggles.
  • Instead, the complaint alleges Riley Keough, then in her early 20s, donated her eggs to help Preston carry their son Benjamin, now 15. In return, Riley supposedly received an old Jaguar and a payment between $10,000 and $20,000.
  • Lockwood purportedly wanted this information leveraged to secure a settlement for himself and his daughters, amid claims of financial hardship.

The Family’s Firm Denial and Unity

Priscilla Presley and Riley Keough have not stayed silent. In a joint statement released in September and reiterated amid these fresh allegations, they described the claims as “untrue” and “deeply hurtful.” They stressed that their family remains “united in love and respect for one another,” with a shared focus on “honoring Lisa Marie’s memory and protecting Elvis’ legacy with dignity.”

Priscilla’s legal team, including attorneys Marty Singer and Wayne Harman, issued a strong rebuke to TMZ. They accused Kruse and Fialko of crossing ethical lines in a desperate bid to pressure Priscilla after repeated courtroom setbacks.

“These recent outrageous allegations have absolutely nothing to do with the claims in this case,” the statement read. “The conduct of Kruse, Fialko, and their new lawyers is shameful, and it absolutely will be addressed in court.”

Behind the Lawsuit: A Battle for Control

The core dispute stems from Priscilla’s business dealings with Kruse and Fialko, who now sue over alleged mismanagement and interference. Yet, the inclusion of these personal anecdotes about Keough and Travolta shifts the spotlight, potentially serving as leverage in negotiations. Observers note that such tactics can amplify public scrutiny, forcing families to defend their private histories in the open.

For the Presleys, this episode reflects broader challenges in safeguarding a legendary name. Elvis Presley’s granddaughter, Riley, has risen as a guardian of the family story through her acting career and involvement in estate matters. Her alleged role in helping Travolta’s family, if viewed through a lens of compassion, could speak to themes of solidarity among stars. However, the denials frame it as a fabrication meant to sow discord.
