Rob Kardashian made a rare family appearance in photos from Khloé Kardashian’s birthday celebration, and fans quickly noticed the glimpse of him with his daughter Dream.
Khloé, who turned 42 on June 27, shared an Instagram carousel from the family gathering on Tuesday, June 30.
People reported that the post included Rob, 39, posing with his mom Kris Jenner, sisters Kim, Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian, and his 9-year-old daughter Dream.
“How blessed am I? Missing a few but they’re always with me,” Khloé wrote in the caption.

Rob was seen smiling in the family photos, wearing a black T-shirt, blue shorts and a blue baseball cap. Us Weekly reported that Khloé’s carousel also included pictures of Rob and Dream together.
Dream wore a white top and light blue jeans for the family gathering. Rob shares Dream with his ex, Angela White, who was previously known publicly as Blac Chyna.
Rob Left Khloé a Sweet Birthday Comment
Rob also commented on Khloé’s post, writing, “We are so Blessed to have you! We love you so much!!!” according to Us Weekly. Kris Jenner joined in the comments as well, writing, “My heart.”
People reported that fans reacted warmly to Rob’s appearance, with one commenter saying Khloé had made them happy by sharing a picture of Rob and that he seemed “happy and healthy.”
Rob Has Kept a Lower Profile for Years
Rob became famous alongside his family on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, but he gradually pulled back from the spotlight after years on reality TV.
People reported that Rob stepped back from public life in 2016 and has not appeared regularly on Hulu’s The Kardashians. During a 2025 appearance on Khloé’s Khloé in Wonder Land podcast, he said he did not want to film while he was not comfortable with himself.
“I’m not comfortable in my skin, so why would I wanna go be on camera and just be vulnerable and let people in?” Rob said, according to People.
His Family Has Said He Is Doing Well
Rob has slowly appeared in more family moments, including social media posts and a 2025 appearance on The Kardashians. People reported that his season 7 appearance marked his first time on camera since 2016.
Khloé pushed back on rumors about her brother during the Hulu show, saying Rob was doing well and that the family was “totally fine,” according to People.
Kim Kardashian also said she missed having Rob on the show because he is “so funny,” People reported.
Khloé and Rob Have Always Been Close
Khloé and Rob’s bond has been a long-running part of the Kardashian family story. People reported in March that Rob lives near Khloé and that she once described the two of them as each other’s protectors.
Rob has also praised Khloé’s role in his and Dream’s lives. In a 2023 birthday tribute, he thanked her for everything she does for him and Dream and wrote that he did not know what he would do without her.
