Savannah Guthrie has made another public plea for her mother, Nancy Guthrie, as the search for the 84-year-old continues more than four months after she vanished from her Arizona home.
The Today co-anchor posted an Instagram Stories message on June 7 with a religious painting of Christ’s ascension, according to People. The image included the words, “Oh my, my soul it cries out, soul, it cries out.”
Guthrie added a short request beneath it: “Bring her home.”
Nancy was last seen at her residence in the Catalina Foothills neighborhood of Tucson on the evening of Jan. 31, according to the FBI. The bureau and the Pima County Sheriff’s Department are investigating her disappearance.
Nancy Guthrie Was Last Seen in Late January
Nancy was reported missing on Feb. 1 after she did not appear for church, according to People’s timeline of the case.
Authorities have said they believe she was taken against her will. People reported that alleged ransom notes sent to local media outlets supported investigators’ belief that Nancy had been abducted.
The FBI’s wanted notice describes Nancy as a vulnerable adult who has difficulty walking, has a pacemaker, and needs daily medication for a heart condition.
The notice also says images from Nancy’s front-door camera show an armed individual appearing to tamper with the camera on the morning of her disappearance. The FBI is seeking information that could help identify that person.

Guthrie has used social media several times during the search, including earlier video appeals with her siblings, Annie and Camron.
In February, Reuters reported that Guthrie and her family were asking for proof that Nancy was alive and emphasizing that she needed daily medication.
Later that month, Nancy’s family offered a reward of up to $1 million for information leading to her recovery. Reuters reported that the FBI’s separate reward stood at up to $100,000.
No Suspect Has Been Publicly Identified
No suspect has been publicly identified in Nancy’s disappearance.
The FBI’s wanted notice describes the individual seen in the front-door camera images as a male, approximately 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, with an average build. The notice says he was wearing a black 25-liter Ozark Trail Hiker Pack backpack.
People reported that Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said in a May update that investigators were still working with the FBI and forensic labs as they reviewed evidence in the case.
The Guardian reported that no arrests had been made as of June 8.
The Guthrie Family Thanked Tucson for Its Support
Guthrie’s latest post came shortly after she, her siblings, and their spouses shared a statement thanking people in Tucson and southern Arizona for supporting the search.
People reported that the family said the Tucson and greater southern Arizona community may still have information that could help resolve the case.
The family asked people to keep paying attention, keep praying, and share anything that might help bring Nancy home.
The FBI Is Still Asking for Tips
The FBI has asked anyone with information about Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance to call 1-800-CALL-FBI or submit a tip online at tips.fbi.gov.
People also reported that tips can be shared with the Pima County Sheriff’s Department at 520-351-4900.
Guthrie’s June 7 message did not include a reported break in the investigation. It was another public request for her mother’s return as the search continues.
