Shawn Mendes and Bruna Marquezine turned a casual beach day in Rio de Janeiro into another sweet public moment, this time with a puppy in tow.
Just Jared reported that Mendes and Marquezine were spotted near a beach kiosk in São Conrado, a neighborhood in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Tuesday, July 14. The outing showed the pair walking together, with Mendes carrying a small puppy as they spent time by the beach.
The pair first sparked dating rumors in late 2025.
The Couple Kept the Outing Low-Key

Mendes and Marquezine dressed for cooler beach weather rather than a full swim day. Mendes wore a fuzzy brown sweater, dark brown scarf, beige pants, black sneakers and a baseball cap.
Marquezine also kept things casual, wearing sunglasses, a blue hoodie and dark pants. After walking together, the pair sat down at an outdoor table and had something to eat.
They Have Been Linked for Several Months
Just Jared noted that Mendes and Marquezine first sparked dating rumors in December 2025. Since then, they have been photographed together multiple times, including outings in Brazil and Los Angeles.
In May, the pair were seen sharing a kiss during a park date in Los Angeles after grabbing drinks from a local coffee shop.
They were also seen together at LAX earlier in May, adding to the public attention around the relationship before the latest Rio outing.
Marquezine Has a Busy Screen Career Too

Marquezine is already a major star in Brazil and has been building a wider international profile. Just Jared noted that she recently appeared in the movie Velhos Bandidos, which was released in March.
She is also set to return as Bia Martins in the second season of Amor da Minha Vida, known in English as Benefits with Friends, on Disney+. She is also attached to the upcoming series Véspera.
International audiences may also know her from Blue Beetle, where she played Jenny Kord opposite Xolo Maridueña.
