Soulja Boy’s custody and support case with Jackilyn Martinez has taken another public turn after court documents allegedly included a hostile email sent to her legal team.

The rapper, whose legal name is DeAndre Way, is accused in new filings of sending a profanity-filled reply after Martinez’s attorney contacted him about resolving the case privately. TMZ reported that the alleged message included “F*** you” and said there would be “no litigation or settlement.”

Martinez filed the case in October 2025, according to TMZ. She is seeking legal and physical custody of the 3-year-old son she shares with Soulja Boy, while remaining open to him receiving visitation.

Her filing also asks the court to establish child support orders. TMZ reported that Soulja Boy has not yet responded to the case.

The Alleged Email Followed a Private-Resolution Request

According to TMZ, Martinez’s legal team contacted Soulja Boy after he allegedly called Martinez to discuss the case. Her lawyer reportedly wrote that it sounded like both sides wanted to resolve the matter “amicably, expeditiously, and privately,” then asked Soulja Boy to have his attorney call.

The alleged reply described in the court documents moved in the opposite direction. TMZ reported that the message told the attorney to stop emailing him and included profanity aimed at the lawyer.

Martinez’s paperwork also claims she tried to serve Soulja Boy at one of his concerts but was unsuccessful. She alleges that she provides most of the support for their son and that Soulja Boy sometimes sends money only after she asks him to do so. Those claims are allegations from her filing, not findings by a judge.

The Support Dispute Had Already Reached Instagram

Public comments about rent and support had already put the dispute in front of Instagram users before the alleged email surfaced in court coverage. In the visible exchange, Soulja Boy’s verified account replied, “She better call drake,” while Blueface’s verified account commented, “Tell her call in I’ll pay for it.”

The Instagram exchange gave the dispute a public audience before Martinez’s latest filing details became the focus. The court case itself remains centered on custody, visitation, child support, attempted service, and Soulja Boy’s alleged response to Martinez’s lawyer.

Martinez previously sued Blueface for defamation after he made online posts suggesting that Soulja Boy’s child could be his. FOX 11 Los Angeles reported that Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Peter A. Hernandez awarded Martinez $123,245 in April 2025.

The judgment included $100,000 for pain and suffering, while the judge declined to award punitive damages, according to FOX 11. Blueface, whose legal name is Johnathan Jamall Porter, did not participate in that case.

That judgment is separate from Martinez’s unresolved case with Soulja Boy. TMZ reported that Soulja Boy has not yet responded to Martinez’s custody and support filing.
