Suki Waterhouse knows what kind of wedding she’d want with Robert Pattinson. “If we were going to go for it we’d have a massive party, blow it out,” she told The Sunday Times for its November 1 Style cover story.
Waterhouse, 34, and Pattinson, 40, have been engaged since December 2023. Despite speculation that they had married in secret, the magazine reported that their wedding plans are on hold at least through the end of 2026.
Since their daughter was born in March 2024, the family has moved between rentals roughly every two months. They’ve spent stretches in London, New York, Los Angeles and New Orleans, choosing places where they could be together while Waterhouse toured and Pattinson worked on films.
During a quieter stretch next year, the couple hope to decide where to live. Waterhouse has already filled out primary school applications from her tour bus. West London, where she and Pattinson both grew up, is one possibility.
How Sharon Stone and a Red Carpet Joke Fueled Wedding Rumors
Sharon Stone was hosting the American Heart Association’s Red Dress Collection Concert in New York in January 2025 when she thanked Waterhouse for performing. Stone acknowledged the time the singer had spent away from her 10-month-old baby and used a word that caught fans’ attention. She called Pattinson Waterhouse’s “husband.”
Pattinson gave fans another line to puzzle over in March 2026. He and Zendaya were in Los Angeles promoting The Drama, in which they play an engaged couple. When Extra’s Terri Seymour asked about the biggest secret he’d kept, Pattinson turned to his costar and said, “Same one that you have.” They both laughed and moved on without saying what the secret was.
Waterhouse spoke about her own wedding in the future tense that May. “Nothing scarier than the actual planning part, right?” she told Variety. She was looking forward to attending Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding and hoped to come away with a few ideas.
Waterhouse and Pattinson First Hit It Off Over a Game of Werewolf
Eight years into their relationship, Waterhouse said she still marvels at how happy she is with Pattinson. Before him, about two years was as long as she’d spent with anyone, and by that point things had usually gone badly.
They met at a game night in Los Angeles in 2018. As Waterhouse recalled in British Vogue, the other guests included Al Pacino, Javier Bardem and Penélope Cruz. The other guests threw themselves into a round of Werewolf. Waterhouse and Pattinson got in trouble for giggling. Even then, it took another chance meeting six or seven months later for them to exchange numbers.
Making Room for Their Daughter on the Loveland Tour
In the video from her Style shoot, Waterhouse recalled how unsure of herself she felt as a new mother. She had finished her second album, Memoir of a Sparklemuffin, around the time her daughter was born. One song on her third album, Loveland, marked a change for her. She told Vogue that singing the words to “Back in Love” helped her feel like herself again.
Taking a toddler on tour meant finding a crib narrow enough to fit inside a bus bunk. Waterhouse’s mother came along to look after her granddaughter during shows, which started after the little girl’s bedtime. Two and a half years into motherhood, Waterhouse said she feels confident about how she and Pattinson are raising their daughter.
Their daughter already has a pretty good idea of what her mother does for a living. Waterhouse told The Standard that they were looking through a picture book about jobs when she asked her daughter which one was hers. The toddler pointed to a girl standing onstage with a microphone.
